Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
Using a Mac OS X 10.4 with HP Photosmart C3180
First question: After trying for hours using FixYa suggestions and more to print borderless 4x6s, I've come to the conclusion that maybe the Photosmart C3180 is not able to print borderless. Is this true?
Most importantly: While trying the above, I must have done something that is now preventing the printer from printing the entire picture. It prints about a third of the picture and then spits the paper out. (with border). Then the printer's on button flashes for a while indicating it's busy and then eventually has a stead green light.
Right now I wish I had just settled for the the bordered 4x6s!
Are the files you are printing from actually on the computer connected to the printer?
I've had this problem in the past (with a different printer) - the image I was printing from was either on a memory stick plugged into a usb port or on a portable hard drive. I solved the problem simply by dragging the image files onto the desktop and printing from those.
