It sounds like a power supply problem. either your battery or the internal power source is defected do to the drop.. or maybe u didnt charge your battery. On one of my psps i have to wiggle around the ac adaptor to make sure its charging sometimes

If this doesnt resolve your problem you may have to call psp customer service at 800-345-7669. This is a toll free number.

I have a PSP that I charged overnight and a orange light came on when i plugged it in to the wall charger. After charging all night I went to power on the PSP and it will not power on, no green or orange...

Remove the battery.
Plug the PSP charger into the PSP.
Turn it on.

The PSP works with no battery inside.
If you're not getting a green light at all, your PSP has some sort of damaged as it should work while plugged in with no battery inside.

PSP was dropped it will not turn on unless plugged into wall. After plugged in wall you can start playing a game but within a couple of minutes it shuts off. Please help.

You most likely have internal damage to the system from the fall. You may have broken the internal fan that cools the system during gameplay and that is why it is shutting off minutes after use. I recommend calling Sony to see if you are still under a warranty. It may be cheaper to have it replaced than to have it fixed.

I hope I was able to fixya problem and Happy Gaming!

Try removing the battery and reinserting it, if you are plugged to an outlet directly try using a different charger it might have burnt out as this commonly happens when we leave the cable plugged to the wall for long periods of time and also if the unit was plugged for a long time the battery might have burnt. the solution wold be to verify that the battery and the charger are working properly, try that and good luck!
