Question about Sanyo DP32746 32 in. LCD Television

No signals found when searching for channels at setup

When I turn the TV on I get a blue screen that says:
"Please wait while your TV searches for channels" IT give a progress bar but status is always 0 channels found. When it is finished it says: "Please connect all signals and antenna to jacks and terminals on the back of the TV. Then press the channel up key." Which sends it back to the first screen I mentioned. It will not let you do anything and I mean anything else. I have tested the cable on another TV and it is working fine. I have tried unplugging the TV waiting and trying again but it did the same thing. Please help!

Channel setup

It sounds like the tv isn't finding any channels and that is why it keeps trying to repeat the search. In the cable/antenna input selection in tone setup menu, make sure you have it set up for the correct signal type. If this doesn't work, you may have a bad TV and should take it back to the store before the warranty is up.

I inherited a Sharp LCD 32" flat screen TV that's only about 2.5 years old. It worked fine at its previous location. Upon bringing it to my house, I've tried disconnecting the cable from my TV &...

Try going into your setup menu. Look for a setting for "Cable/Air". Try switching it to Cable and then doing a channel search. If you are using a cable box try setting channel to 3 on tv. Those are the two easiest things I can think of off the top of my head without seeing it.

37" Polaroid LCD TV No signal appears when select channel

I was having same problem, and think I got lucky and found fix.

Try unplugging the TV and waiting 30 seconds, then plug back in.

You will likely get blue screen with "No Signal".

Go to Menu, then scroll down to "Setup". Select "Factory Reset" then hit "Yes."

This did it for me. Wish you all luck.

Tv not working

Can you confirm that you didn't have any input signal? My wife once accidentally pressed the reset button on the remote and the TV was stuck in this state. I tried to hook up an antenna to the digital antenna input and let the TV search for a channel. It did find a station and got out of the channel search mode, which was all I needed. Then, I unhook the antenna and continued to enjoy my DVD movie. I didn't check the manual. So, it's possible that there is a better solution. My TV was working fine and I think it just has a terrible user interface. I'm not sure about your TV's condition, though.
