Question about Philips SACD1000 CD Player

How to remove the loader of Philips SACD1000

I need to open the tray of Philips SACD1000 manually in order to replace the loader.

the following the service manual of mechanical and dismantling instructions says:

Manually opening of tray
When it is not possible to open the tray with the open/close button, the tray can manually be opened. When no disc is loaded, unlock the tray by moving the slide from the left to right and pull tray outwards.
Remove 4 screws to remove loader.

My question: Please tell me where I can find the slide.

Regards,

Weishen

You power off then power back on while holding down the fast forward and rewind buttons on the recording side simultaneously. The display moves through a sequence of numbers and the trays will then open.

Powers on fine, but won't eject tray.

There's a small rubber belt driven by a motor that turns the gear which moves the tray. It's probably stretched and is slipping. You can usually get at the belt by manually opening the tray and removing the cover from the player. There's usually a small hole on the under the tray where you can insert a straightened-out paper clip to open the tray. A TV or stereo shop can probably help you find a replacement belt, or you can order from online suppliers. Measure the belt circumference, and get one about 10% smaller since the old one is stretched.

There is a disc jammed in my cd player and the tray sometimes opens and closes but wont bring the disc out

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Locate your CD player’s manual Eject button. It is usually a small hole located underneath the CD drawer.

Use a stiff wire, a paper clip or safety pin—into the hole. Push gently and the drawer should open partway. Gently pull the drawer the rest of the way open.

Remove the CD and see if there is a problem with it. Most CD player drawers get stuck when a CD is warped or the label is starting to peel. If the CD is warped, discard it. If the label is peeling, remove the label.

To open the CD player top to remove the cd/CD manually--

  • Unplug the CD player and take the outer casing of the CD player off. This entails either taking out two or three screws or simply sliding one of the pieces of plastic in either direction.
  • Locate the disc loader cover. The disc loader cover is located where the extending CD tray finally comes to rest within the CD player. It’s the part that holds the CD loader in place.
  • Bend the two tabs outward that hold the loader in place. This is a delicate procedure because you don’t want to hurt the device. The tabs are relatively easy to break since they're plastic in most cases.
Points to remember while performing above steps---

 Before you remove the CD player cover, try turning the device off and then back on to see if the disc will come out after the machine has rebooted.
 Use the opportunity while you have the outer casing off to clean the lens of your CD player.
 Never work on an electrical device that's still plugged in.
 Opening a CD player may negate the warranty. Read your warranty carefully before you proceed.

Please do rate the solution and revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Tray wont open on my philips cdr600 recorder , can it be fix

You can try the following:

Unplug power cord.
Plug back power cord.
Press start and push repeatedly the eject button while the unit is starting, before the Player start reading the CD.

Try this a couple of times.

if that does not work, then you will need to disassemble the unit, unplugging from power, and removing the screws at the bottom and at the back, to access the drive and remove disk manually.

Trays locked

Hi, I had the same problem and i found out that if you hold down the fast forward and the rewind buttons with the power on and off button it will reset. It took me a couple of goes but after a while it worked. When you do it keep all of the buttons held down and a series of numbers flash for about a minute then it will reset. Good luck, Jeff.

Try resoldering the TZA1033 on the top side of the monoboard, and glue a piece of aluminium for cooling on top of it.

Good luck!
