Hi

Most cameras do allow you to browse the memory card or built in storage when the camera is attached to your computer. I don't know your skill level with either, but from "My Computer" you should be able to see the camera once it is attached. You can then copy and paste the pictures back in the image folder on the memory card and should then be able to print from your printer dock.

Good luck

it is probably set to print a certine size of the photo, can you do a print preview before printing and see what that looks like, then check all your print settings.

How can I display the date on the pictures that are downloaded into my computer?

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

I do not know how to set the time stamp for my FUJIFILM S1500. The date appears on the display screen when I view the pictures I have taken, but no longer appears once I download them to my computer??

The Fuji FinePix S1000FD camera supports time stamping only when printing pictures via USB with a printer that supports PictBridge. Otherwise, you will need to download the images and use an application such as "Visua Photo Time Stamp."

To print with PictBridge,
  1. Connect the camera to the printer and make sure the printer is on.
  2. Press the right-pointing arrow and hold for a second or until the USB logo is displayed on the camera
  3. Press the DISP/BACK button on the camera
  4. On the menu, select the PRINT WITH DATE option and press MENU/OK.
  5. Press MENU/OK again to start printing.

Tried to take a picture and it says card full. Went to the store to print pictures and there is nothing on the card!!! I cant find all my pics!!!!

Could be a misread:
Start by putting the card in the computer (or hooking up the USB if that's the way you've been uploading the pics to the puter), and let the software find out what's on the card.

Once you have all your pics in the computer, they're safe.
To get prints, you can download them to the same card later, or your thumbdrive.

*of course, if there was a communication error between the camera and card, it's possible that there are no pics...but that's not likely if you setup the card before using it.

With the card back in the camera, go to setup menu and choose "Format" and confirm.
This is the required first step with every new card-camera relationship, and insures clear communications.
This will clean the card and clear any errors the camera had before when the pics were on the card.

Again, to get prints, you can put the card back in the puter and DL them back onto the card.

Unable to print pictures from my coolpix camera

Do you have your camera software installed on your computer?
You need the drivers for your camera.

Drivers are small pieces of software that allow the device, (In this case your camera) to 'communicate' with the Operating System.

(MAC OS X 10.5.5 {Leopard} is an example of an Operating System)

Plug your camera into your computer. Print from your computer.

Cannot stop hp printer from continually printing the last document it printed two months ago !! Second problem...cannot download pictures directly from my camera (Olympus SP-55OUZ printer HP...

Highlight the printer in the printer setup area, and click open, and delete all print jobs.

Once properly deleted, it can not re-appear..

Try this first, it should clear the buffer, and then the picture issue may go away.. If not, provide error details.

reboot & reconnect printer (swap cables if not detected)

Sony picture utility for DSC-W80 Need Help

Most picture software will work with any camera. I have a Cannon and use Kodak's software, which you can get from
www.kodak.com
go to support center---click on software--click on Easyshare software support--click on Easyshare software Downloads--click on Kodak Easyshare Software "Download" when the box comes up, "Run". It is great software. When you hook up your camera or SD card it will recognize it and you can load your pictures into it.
Try it, I love it.
I also have a Kodak all in one 5300. The Easyshare software is the same you can print with in the stores. So if you have a Kodak printer no need to go to the store and print your photos.

Sony cybershot dsc w80

One way is when you download them to the computer. When you first insert your media card (Memory Stick Pro Duo?), it should prompt you as to what you want it to do. "Do Nothing" reply.
Then open "my computer" from the start menu. When you are looking at your images, highlight them all and "Cut". Then paste them to a folder in "my pictures" and it should clear your camera.
Good Luck! Ed
