Question about Video Game Consoles & Games
My name is garo i received from my family a game boy color and i put the game in and i put brand new batteries in but the light wont come on and nothing on the screen comes on. please help me i am stuck and don't know what to do.my email is email@example.com.
It simply sounds like the game boy is dead. That generation of Gameboy is very much out of date and could easily be found on ebay (or in gamestop) for cheap. If you don't want to buy a new one, Id suggest contacting Nintendo customer service. I dont think they could fix it for you, but could have some helpful suggestions.
I worked at a Gamestop for 3 years, and that was a common problem among GBC systems. We never got answers either and they ended up just being field destroy.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
