did you try new batteries in the remote? if the tv has buttons on the side and one of them being power di you try to push that? did you push tv power or cable power holding the buttons longer? those things might work.
If the red light won't come on it is not getting power.First, try plugging it in to a different outlet,or unplug one of the gadgets you know is working and plug the tv in there. You are simply switching. If you know that there is power coming from the outlet and it still won't come on then you'll have to check the cord;don't go much farther than that without expert help.
total dead usually means the fuse---unplug the set for safety and remove back cover---follow power cord just inside and you will find the fuse in a snap in holder--check to see if bad.............if good let me know and I will try to assist you.
This is called the blinking green light of death-----only one of two things can cause this problem.
First: remove front speaker grill (IT PULLS OFF) AND remove inspection plate behind it; look for the two bundles of wires coming down and to the right from the front keyboard of the set.
Unplug both plugs you find (different and marked so you cannot mix them up-----the idea is to take the front keyboard out of circuit-----set will still function with remote as receiver is behind front screen)
Try (after 70 seconds) to turn on with remote
If it comes on---defective reset button on front keyboard----use set only with remote or remove and remove actual reset switch---it is located behind and part of frame for screen----entire front screen would have to be removed to get at it.
Second: if disconnection of the front keyboard does not help, the DM unit is bad.
As you look from back of set it is large metal box at extreme left side.
The blinking light is the unit trying to "Boot" up-----these have a problem where caps and a few other parts in that unit fail-----kits on the net are available----Mitsubishi no longer sells or services these units but PTS Electronics does repair them.
Let me know if you have questions and try disconnection of the front keyboard FIRST.
First press on the power button on the tv remote control. if it is also not solved then i think your tv has a internal hardware problem which may be failure of some electronic components. It will be better to take it to nearest service center
IF model number posted is correct and green power light comes on for a few seconds and then goes off: On front of set press and hold both the Menu and Input (device) buttons at the same time for at least five seconds and release both buttons.
Power light will then blink a two digit error code like 2 blinks, 2 blinks, a pause and repeat it several times.
Let me know what error code is found and I will tell you what it means.
if you are asking about the ” innovage” large tv remote… you do not need a code booklet. maunally turn your tv on point the remote at the tv push ” code search” a red button will blink push the ” TV” button then push the upper right botton with a circle and line on it… the red burron will blink during each push… at some point the tv will turn off… push the “enter” button the tv will then work with the remote. it it takes too long to catch so to speak… do not turn the TV off… during the process… go ahead and push search code again..then TV then on/off botton sometimes this speeds up the process. i’ve found every once in a while the large remote stops responding to the on/off button… just repeat the steps.
We hope this helps please rate/vote for me if it does thanks
