The washing machine flashes F 20

"F20" is a "No Water Detect" error code. This usually means you have very little water entering the machine, or no water at all. The following link explains the error code in more detail and steps necessary to troubleshoot:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3608632-f20_error_code

If you have any questions, please post back and let me know. I hope this information is helpful to you.

NOTE: Each one of thes washers comes with a technical data sheet inside. The tech sheet lists all error codes, troubleshooting information, wiring diagrams, diagnostics procedures and illustrations. To access, you need to remove the lower toe panel directly below the door. The screws are located under the bottom front edge. With the screws removed, the panel will drop down and can be removed. If the tech sheet is not located dorectly behind the toe panel, it will be affixed to one of the interior cabinet walls.

How do i get the panel off to work on it?

If you are referring to the CONTROL PANEL, follow these steps:
1. Locate and remove the three screws that hold the top panel in place in the REAR of the washer. With the screws removed, the panel will slide back, then lift off.
2. Open the dispenser drawer and push the release tab in the back to release the drawer so it will come out.
3. Remove any panel screws behind the dispenser drawer and along the bracket inside the washer directly behind the control panel.
4. Insert a putty knife directly above the door in the seam under the control panel. There is a release tab that you need to depress and the panel should pop loose.
Use caution not to stress any of the wires.
If you are referring to the LOWER TOE PANEL directly below the door, you need to you will need to remove the access screws (7mm or T2 Torx type) that are located under the bottom front edge of the panel. You may have to prop the two front feet of the washer up for better access ( a 2x4 works well for this). With the screws removed, the panel should drop down, then come off.
If you are referring to the REAR PANEL, remove the series of screws around the perimeter of the panel and remove. You normally do not have to disconnect the water lines to accomplish this. However, shutting off the water and removing the hoses can give you better access.

If none of these are the panel you are referring to, please post back and elaborate a bit more and explain WHAT panel you are trying to remove. I hope you find this information helpful.

Fo9 on screen

"F09" is an Overflow Condition error. The following link explains how to diagnose the problem yourself:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3608557-f09_error_code

Read through the information provided and check all the common sense things that you can easily eliminate, first. For more in-depth troubleshooting procedures, refer to the tech sheet that came with your washer. The tech sheet is located inside your appliance. To access, remove the lower toe panel under the door by removing the screws under the bottom front edge (you may have to prop the two front feet of the washer up for better access - a 2x4 works well for this). With the screws removed, the panel will drop down, then come off.

The tech sheet will either be located directly behind the toe panel, or affixed to one of the interior cabinet walls. The tech sheet includes troubleshooting tips, error code definitions, test points, diagnostics procedures and wiring diagrams. You will need to use the tech sheet to accurately locate and perform some of the steps I have outlined.

If you have questions about this repair, please post back and let me know. I hope this helps you.

How to fit a belt for a indesit dryer ISL70c

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Please follow the step-by-step procedure---

1. Remove the front panel.
2. Reach underneath drum and behind motor to locate idler pulley. Push idler pulley to left to release drum belt tension. Remove the belt from the motor pulley.
3. Remove the drum and belt from the cabinet.

1-- Prepare for replacing the dryer belt by lifting the lint-screen cover on the top of the dryer. Then remove the lint screen. Skip this step if your lint screen is inside the door. Remove the 2 Phillips screws inside the door instead.
2-- After removing the lint screen, lift the cover and remove the screws that hold the lint-screen housing to the dryer top.
3-- Slide a putty knife between the front panel and the top near a corner. Lift the corner and repeat on the other side.
4-- To remove the lower panel, insert the putty knife between the panel and each side. Then twist to release clip.
5-- Place a few wood blocks under the drum. These support the drum when the front panel is moved away from the sides.
6-- Loosen the screws that secure the bottom of the front panel to the dryer sides. Do not completely remove the screws.
7-- Remove the screws that secure the front panel to the dryer sides at the top. These are accessed from the inside of the cabinet.
8-- Lean the front panel away from the sides and slip the new dryer belt over the drum. Then re-secure the front panel.
9-- Check that the lip on the back of the dryer drum fits properly against the seal on the rear bulkhead of the dryer.
10-- Locate the original position of the old belt, and slip the new belt in place. Keep the grooved side of the belt down.
11-- Push the idler pulley toward the motor and loop the doubled-up belt around the idler pulley. Slip belt around motor pulley.
12-- Rotate the drum counterclockwise a few turns to check belt tracking. Then replace remaining components and test run.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

My whirlpool dishwasher "clean" light is blinking. No any buttoms are functional except the "drain" buttom. what is the problem. What parts I need to change? I have disassembled the front panel. It seems...

Before you do anything, please read:

The blinking clean light is an interruption in the dishwasher program that either indicates a component malfunction, or it can be a simple program glitch. The following link explains how you may be able to clear the blinking clean light problem:
http://www.fixya.com/support/r3575752-dishwasher_blinking_clean_light

Now, keep in mind all dishwashers are not alike and have different panel options. If you do not have the same set up that I have mentioned, the tech sheet for your dishwasher will explain the touch pad functions. The tech sheet is located behind the lower toe panel under the door and lists the proper sequence of buttons to push for diagnostics and troubleshooting. Just remove the screws that hold the panel in place and remove.

NOTE: Sometimes the tech sheet is located behind the inner door panel. You will need to remove the screws securing the inner panel to access it if this is the case. Make sure you turn off the main power breaker before doing so.

If the problem keeps reoccuring the number of flashes is an indication of WHICH circuit is causing your problem. As all dishwashers differ in operation and features, refer to your tech sheet for the recommended troubleshooting steps.

If you have any questions, please let me know. I hope this helps you solve your problem.
NOTE: Some dishwashers use the Sani-Rinse/Air Dry combination, some use the Sani-Rinse/Heated Dry combination. Some use a sequence of three, others use a sequence of 5 pushes of the buttons. The tech sheet will explain. If the tech sheet is not behind the lower toe panel, check along the frame underneath. I have also found them located inside the inner door panel. Let me know if you still need assistance.

When I try to start my washer it beeps and flashes f then dl. I lost the owners manuel. What does this error message mean and how can I fix it?

The error codes are not listed in the Owner's Manual, they are listed in the Technical Data Sheet. "Fdl" is a door latch error code. This is an indication that the door latch is broken or the Central Control Unit (CCU), which controls the latch is not working properly. The technical data sheet that comes with the washer explains all the error codes, diagnostics steps and troubleshooting procedures on how to determine which component has failed. The tech sheet is located inside the washer behind the lower toe panel directly below the door. If not directly behind the toe panel, it will be affixed to one of the interior cabinet walls. To remove the toe panel, you need to locate and remove the screws under the bottom front edge of the panel. With the screws removed, the panel will drop down, then come off.

NOTE: For better access to the toe panel screws, you can prop the two front feet of the washer up. (A 2x4 works well for this).

Inspect the door of the washer to ensure the latch pin is intact and not broken. Then, inspect the latch mechanism on the front of the washer to ensure nothing is lodged inside. Last of all, remove the top and panel of the washer by locating the three screws that hold the panel in place in the rear of the washer. With the screws removed, the panel will slide back, then lift off. Locate the connector plugs that run between the CCU and the door latch. Unplug each connector (one at a time) and plug them back in to make sure they are seated properly and making good contact.

If you determine the latch is broken, the following link explains the steps necessary to replace it:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r587965-door_latch_replacement_fdl_error

If you have any questions, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

GE Spacemaker stackable washer/dryer

You should go in through the front. Use a flashlight and look between the front panel and the top panel. You should see some clips there. Stick a flathead screwdriver into the clips to pop the top up and then remove the front. The front may be held in by screws, but since I don't know which model you have, look inside once you pop the top and see if there are screws. Then you should be able to remove the front panel and see the belt.
