Question about Nintendo DS Console

My NDS top screen's picture is on the bottom screen

I bought a new top screen from powergamingparts.com and the top screen's picture is on the bottom screen with the bottom screen's picture, so it is messing with the colors and I don't know how to fix it.
Any advice would be helpful

You most likely put it in wrong. Take it off and try again, if it still doesn't work something has to be wrong with the screen you bought.

Flashing bottom screen (Nintendo DS Lite)

You need to check the top screen ribbon is fully inserted into to place on the board. A green light and flash of the screen within a second means ribbon not connecting right

Broken nds ribbon cable

Yes, this can be fixed. You will need to replace the top LCD screen of the NDS, as the cable attaches directly to it. The speakers will need to be soldered to the new top LCD screen, as the top replacement screens usually do not come with speakers attached to it.

NDS powers on then back off

i think you have answered that question yourself but what i would do, find a game repaireshop near by, and they will repair anything to do with game consoles, it should cost too much either, so its either them or the trash or try your pot look, learn a bit more and you might probably be able to fix it yourself, dont give up just yet, believe in yourself and concentrate

How to fit the power switch

you have to (obviously) open it up and solder in a new one. I've done it, but it's not trivial. I have lots of experience soldering and it went well, but I would not anticipate that someone without lots of time spent with a soldering iron will be able to do it without burning or lifting traces off the circuit board. The switch is available from many places. I bought mine here: http://www.powergamingparts.com/nintendo-ds-and-nds-lite-on--off-power-switch.html

Nintendo DS bottom display screen

Hi I have a problem with my bottom screen as well. I was replacing the case as the hinge was broken. When i was putting it back together i noticed a slight tear in the ribbon cable which is attached to the board and the bottom screen.
When I turned it on I found I had poor colour and contrast in the bottom screen however the top screen was fine.
Where this ribbon cable is attached to the board there is two small cables attached to the board beneath it, maybe one of these has come away and needs repositioning or your bottom screen needs replacing.Try this site for diy tipshttp://site.powergamingparts.com
