Question about RCA HD52W58 52" TV

Re-install TV screen

I have a 9 year old 50" rear screen TV that on of my kids pushed the screen and it came out of it's track. There are two screens and they are not broken. I am unable to get them back in the track. IS there a way I can remove the track housing from the front of the TV? I think if I could do that the screens would go back into the track and I then could just re-ibstallthe housing. I am unaable to determine how the track housing is attached to the front of the TV

Red colour appearing on screen

Your tv could have one of several faults. None of which are to be tackled by anyone except a qualified engineer due to the electric shock hazard.the first problem could be the crt (tube) the second could be the componets on crt base circuit board ie resistors or ic.
With a tv 9 years old it may not be economical to carry out a reair.

Big screen tv turns on and off on its own!

Your TV is being overheated by the location it is placed. try moving it in an airy area and see if the problem still occurs. The turning on and off is a response to overheating sensors in the TV housing and if not rectified it could malfunction and may cause burnout, a possible risk of fire.
