Question about Panasonic KX-TG2214 Cordless Phone
I have a Panasonic KX-TG2214 cordless phone and unfortunately it needs to be close to where my wireless DSL router is. The phone experiences problems when someone is browsing the internet. How do I change the frequency of the phone? Another phone of mine allows me to change the frequency a wee bit (which is enough to prevent the phone and router from interfering with each other) but I don't know how do do this on the KX-TG2214. Thanks.
Try using a line filter in the wire from the phone socket to the coedless phone base
you can get line extensions that allow you to position the phone base any where so being too close is not an excuse

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: phone ringer
You can download the manual for a very similar phone, the KX-TG2302 at http://service.us.panasonic.com/OperMan/findmanual.aspx?cat=TEL and you can figure out all the features of a KX-TG2303. The simple answer is: while you are not using the phone, press the up or down volume button and it should turn the ringer back on. To turn the ringer back off, press and hold the down volume button until you hear two beeps. You can adjust the volume while the phone is ringing. The manual will tell you how to change your ringer tones, etc.

If it's truly music and not tones, the music comes from a device plugged into the system cabinet. On the side of the system there is a port marked MOH with a cable and a box at the other end. Here's where you find the MOH device and either change the CD or record new messages into it.
Intellitouch has a product called message studio that lets you make your own message on hold messages here:
The demo is free, and a licensed product is about $30.
