Question about Kodak EasyShare DX6490 Digital Camera

1 Answer

Kodak M375 As I was printing a pic on the easy share dock the camera has frozen. It does not turn on, close, or the computer and docking station does not recognize the camera is hooked to them.

Sorry, I'm dyslectic. Its theM753. I turn all my numbers around, try teaching math to your 1st grader. I have tried but nothing seems to work, even trying to directly hook the camera in with the USB cable. I get no response, from the camera or the computer. The camera is only 4 or 5 months old. Any other suggestions?

There is no Kodak M375 camera.

But for most of these issues the easiest solution is to remove the camera from the dock. Remove the battery from the camera. Re-install the battery (if you know it's still sufficiently charged) and try to turn the camera on or off. This often re-boots the camera.

Kodak easy share dx4530 won't upload pictures to computer

Forget the dock. Get a card reader and use it to download the pics to a folder you create on your desktop.

When you buy a m753 kodak does it come

Kodak sells three different package versions of their cameras. You can purchase one of their cameras with an adapter but no dock, with adapter and dock, or with adapter and printer dock. The dock and printer dock are also available on line (try eBay) as accessories. The dock is an extremely handy accessory, allowing automatic charging and computer connection. The printer dock though, at least in my experience, is a cumbersome and unreliable method of obtaining low-quality photos.

Put photos back on Kodak easy share from computer

Hi. it's only possible if you use a separate card reader and put them in the DCIM folder once you open them under My Computer.

You cannot transfer it back from the computer to the camera directly. Not possible for kodak

Picture dock

Go to Start/Control Panel/ Add remove software.
Remove the Kodak Easy share software.

Do not re install it.

Use USB cable to connect camera to computer
Use alternative software [picasa which is Free] or any other image editor for processing and printing images.
It is likely your printer has supplied software that is suitable.

Docking and charging digital camera

Not sure if this will help, but you might try removing the batteries from camera, then see if it responds on the dock, if so it is most likely bad battery. That battery should be easy enough to find at locally. You might wanna try the Interactive Troubleshooter on Kodak's site. http://www.kodak.com/global/en/service/products/ekn030483.jhtml?pq-path=6861
