Question about Canon PIXMA MP160 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Every time it trys to load paper to print it pulls the right side of the paper in and jams
Canon Printers are notorious for paper jams. Don't throw it out the window just yet, there are several solutions. Visibly check that there is nothing obstructing your printer (use a flashlight). A kitty may have hacked up a hairball (just kidding). Try a can of compressed air to blow out any foreign objects as well as turning your machine gently upside down to be absolutely positive nothing is obstructing the roller assembly. Next, open your Word Pad and type anything (like how much you are enjoying your Canon Printer Jamming and how you will recommend Canon Printers to all your friends), Use an A4 paper size 'POSTER PAPER' (the same size that you normally use (8 and one half inch by 11 inches) as this is thicker than what you would use. From your Word Pad, click PRINT, you will need to run the paper through several times and this will clean out any built up residue. If you do not have 'POSTER PAPER' a 'MAGAZINE COVER' will suffice (just be certain that it is the same size). After you have run your 'POSTER PAPER' through, load your regular printing paper normally and this should resolve your 'FANTASTIC CANON PRINTER'.

Absolutely would not have believed it when other responders said there might be something stuck in there. But when I turned the printer upside down to see if anything came out, lo and behold a green M&M fell out !!!! My Canon Pixma 160 was pulling paper in to the right, then jamming up. With the M&M out of there it is printing properly again.

Yeah, I had that same problem - turns out a small pen cap was jammed in my paper loader.
If you open up the printer to where the ink is, you'll see the small white plastic bar where the paper usually is loaded under, if you pry that up a little, try and see if there's anything stuck under there. It was so dumb. Good luck.
