I have had this problem which was caused by a mismatch between the power supply socket and the 13amp plug. by changing either you can see if you get a result..what was happening was as soon as any current was drawn as the machine tried to start the high resistant contact causes the voltage to fall and the programmer stops . The same effect can occur as the heating cycle starts. a good quality plug may be the answer,

Turn the programme selector dial to the required programme.
The selector dial can be turned either clockwise
or counter-clockwise. The green pilot light of the button
9 starts flashing: the appliance is now switched on.
If you turn the programme selector dial to another programme
when the appliance is working, the red pilot light
of the button 9 will flash 3 times and the message Err is displayed to indicate a wrong selection.
The appliance will not perform the new selected programme.
• To switch the appliance off, turn the programme selector
dial to the position .
• To cancel or change a running programme, switch the
appliance off by turning the programme selector dial to the
position . Select the new programme by turning the selector
to the desired programme. Start the new programme
by pressing the button 9 again. The water in the tub will be
not emptied out.
Some appliances malfunction can be displayed in hexadecimal or in binary code.
So your device is defective and shows you what's wrong. You have to count how many times flashes red light and how many times flashes green light. Red light shows the first error number and green light the second error number. For example: you forgot to close the door and you started washing machine. After some time (timeout) will generate an alarm. Four times will flash red light and once the green light which means error code " E41 " or "Open door"
" E20 " means "No drain water"
" E10 " means "No fill up water"
Is the door shutting at all or is it just not clicking shut , there is a pressure switch / electronic switch on the door catch mounted on the machine main body which prevents machine running if the door is not shut correctly.
To display Error Code: Move Programme Selector to the Off postion. Press the 2 buttons on the right and turn the selector 1 position clockwise and hold the 2 buttons for about 5 seconds until all the lights are flashing. Release buttons and turn the selector to the 10th position. The Error Code will be displayed. Note the code then turn the selector to off ,then on,then off again.
When you put it to drain/spin does the pump make any attempt to drain,if not it could be that there is something stuck in the pump,needs draining manually.Another thing to try is to find the fault code.If you hold down the 2 buttons on the far right of panel then press on/off button till lights start chasing,then release the 2 buttons on right hand side.Now the first function button by the on/off button you will need to press until the light above the button reaches the 9th or 10th position this will give you a read out in the display.
E10 = low water press.
E20 = pump or filter.
E30 = press. switch or heater faults.
E40 = Door swich.
E50 = motor.
Some of these numbers can vary there are more but those are the most common.After checking codes switch off machine then back on twice to reset.
maybe you need to press the start button twice?? if u have the instructions booklet then i sugest you unplug it and do it all over again doin exactly what the booklet says. if not then try going on the site wich makes it
Try to pull out the power-cable from the contact. Wait for at least 30 seconds then reconect it again.
