Question about LG enV VX9900 Cellular Phone
Well recently I have purchased my phone off Ebay from a phone dealer brand new in the box never opened. I purchased my Orange EnV VX9900 for the full price and received it perfectly. The phone was awesome I was so psyched to open the box and play with it. It was perfect!!
About a week later I started to charge the phone, and it charges fine takes like 2-3 hours to completely charge the phone. Well I haven't dropped the phone at all. And this problem I have is when I use the main screen everything works perfectly. It's when I just put the phone down on my bed or just let it sit anywhere. The screen dims normally and then the screen turns black. Well I pick up the phone and I just press any button, normally the screen turns back on lights up you know? Back to menu. Well the phone stays black... I can angle the phone looking sideways and I can see the screen move and I see lines in the phone. The screen is black but I can still execute actions such as call someone or do anything as if the screen were visible. I don't know why it does this. I even had it in my hand and turned the phone off then back on, and the screen went from normal on shut down, to just black on start up... The way I found out how to get out of the black screen and it takes lots of tries, is flipping open the phone and closing it sort of fast and hard, not extremely damaging hard, but a little force. And it takes like 5-15 times to get it back. It does not always work and takes me like 30 minutes to get the normal screen back. I know this is an issue because everyone I know with a EnV VX9900 do not have this issue.
Please help me what should I do is there any solution or must I get a new Orange LG EnV VX9900 cell phone.

From description , it looks like a faulty display ribbon connector. The phone must be taken apart, and probably the part replaced to fix this.
Well that happens on Ebay, you pay less than RRP, but it is difficult to get guaranty cover.
Ebay offers paypal cover up to $500 if you open a dispute with the seller within 45 days from purchase.
Go to Ebay, if you are still in time open a dispute immediately (even if they suggest contacting seller first), as time is running out.
After opening the dispute, contact the seller , explain the situation , and see if he want to give you refund, otherwise ask Ebay full refund through dispute resolution.
