It will ask you to confirm, Press ok & if ask phone code then Default phone lock code for samsung if it didn't changed before then it is 00000000 (eight zero's) Note:
Remember one things hard reset will deletes all your messages, all
contacts, photos, notes etc in the phone memory.Your phone is like a new
phone. So better is first save all your data and then restore it

Please make sure the receiver volume is ON. Then please try turning on your speaker phone and see if you can hear. If you can hear by turning on speakerphone then your earpiece does not work.

have you tried reset where you hold down the 'home' button and 'power' button at the same time? Hold both until you see the Apple logo appear on screen and then it should reload software. This will not lose any information but replicates where on a normal phone you would remove the battery to perform a hard reset. If this does not clear your fault, have you tried docking back on I Tunes and performing restore? (although first option is most likely to solve this). If all this fails then I expect that the I Phone could be faulty and will require service? hope that helps?
