Question about Facebook Social Network

Cant login after changing my email address.....no help from facebook team as yet??

I recently moved house & changed broadband companies, switching to o2. When i updated my new e-mail address on facebook i saved it as zero instead of the letter O on the o2 bit, i have sent lots of messages to the facebook support but have only recived an automated responce & nothing since...so i havent been able to login for a while now & am finding this very frustrating, even if i had heard something & told it would take a while would have been understandable but to hear nothing is not very good, especially for such a big networking site!! my problem is hardly a hard technical one, i just need my email re-set

If anyone can help me with this i would be most gratefull
Many thanks

When you receive this kind of email AND you click in the link provided, you are giving the scammer your username and password.

You MUST open a new browser windows, go to facebook website (typing the website address, DO NOT click links to go to that site) and Login with your username and password.

If you are able to login, Change your password Immediately!

If you still not able to login to your facebook account, click the link "Forgot password" from the login page.

Please ignore the emails from people telling you "Your account is suspended..." or "Suspicious activity". It is only a scam.

Good luck!

From Facebook:

If the login email address that you normally use to log in to your Facebook account is still associated with your account:

https://ssl.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=hacked_self_recovery

If the login email address listed on your Facebook account has been removed by the another person (i.e., someone has replaced your login email address with one that you do not control):

http://www.facebook.com/help/?page=1024#!/help/contact.php?show_form=hack_login_changed

There are two indications that your login email address has been removed by another person:
  1. Your profile is still visible on the site when you search for it and there is a different login email address listed under Contact Info.
  2. You received an error message when logging in with the correct login email reading: "The email entered does not belong to any account." (You will also receive this error message if you have made a spelling error. Please be sure to check the spelling of your login.)
To solve this issue on your own, please look for an email at your login email address with the subject "Facebook Contact Email Change Notification" and follow the instructions to cancel the email change.

You can use this page to try and regain access:
http://www.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=hack_login_changed
It refers to recovering your password if the login has been hacked. Was the closest solution I could find to your dilemma! I'd recommend opening a gmail address or similar for using with things like facebook in case you change ISP again.

I recently changed my facebook contact email. Not knowing it would cause such a problem! And now I can't sign in on either email. I never changed my password!! Please help!!

Click on the :forgot password: link at the top right of the screen....enter the new email address you are using now and then click on the reset password button...Facebook will send you an email with a link to reset your password...use the new password to log in and write it down so you don't forget this time...When you changed your email address to the new email address that you want to use, did you confirm the change after receiving the original Facebook email?

I cannot login to my facebook.

Did you try using the Forgot Password option. There is link to this above the login box.
Forgot password will ask you for your email address, which Facebook will verify. Facebook will then send an email to your mentioned email address with the password.
