Hi,

It can be calcium in the boiler or in a tube, it can also be the flowmeter that have to be replaced.

If you take off the top you will see the boiler, loosen the tube to see if there are some calcium in this. If you see calcium around the boiler, then you have to replace it.

Best regards
/Mirran

How to ventilate Saeco Magic Comfort + coffe maker

Hi
If its a Magic Comfort + there is a water button on the panel (with the drop) that you push for water. You twist the dial for steam only.

If its a Magic Delux you twist the dial for water.

Hi I have Saeco Magic Comfort. The ventilate warning is on and no matter what I do I cant get it to go away.

HI Have you pushed the button with the water drop icon? If you have you have a bad flow meter or the solenoid to the steam valve is stuck or you have a plug in the tip of the wand. Its hard to diagnose the problem without seeing the machine.

My saeco magic coffee machine says ventilate. How do I do this?

Hi
If it is just a Magic Delux, open the steam knob, without pushing the steam button. If its a Magic Comfort you have to push the button with the drops on it and it will flow water.

Electonic display will not change on a Siemens Expresso machine

I have had this problem with our coffee machine as well some how the machine has sucked air into the system and needs to get it out.

To ventilate the machine turn the dial on top of the 'magic comfort' sign (the one for the froth) and place a glass underneath. Keep the dial turned till the sign ventilate goes away then close the dial.

This process has always worked for me...

Thanks

Saeco Magic comfort

turn the hot water / steam knob on to 'ventilate' the pressure from the machine. The ventilate /overtemperature message will disappear when ready (few seconds usually)

Esppresso machine

This means there is air in the steam/hot water line. Turn on the hot water button and run it through until it stops saying ventilate. If this doesn't work, there could be more serious problems at work (clogged hose? bad flowmeter?).
