HI Have you pushed the button with the water drop icon? If you have you have a bad flow meter or the solenoid to the steam valve is stuck or you have a plug in the tip of the wand. Its hard to diagnose the problem without seeing the machine.
Hi If it is just a Magic Delux, open the steam knob, without pushing the steam button. If its a Magic Comfort you have to push the button with the drops on it and it will flow water.
open steam knob and water need start going on steam wand keep going couple minuts and you will see machine is ready,if you still have same problem thats mean your flowmetar is not good
I have had this problem with our coffee machine as well some how the machine has sucked air into the system and needs to get it out.
To ventilate the machine turn the dial on top of the 'magic comfort' sign (the one for the froth) and place a glass underneath. Keep the dial turned till the sign ventilate goes away then close the dial.
turn the hot water / steam knob on to 'ventilate' the pressure from the machine. The ventilate /overtemperature message will disappear when ready (few seconds usually)
This means there is air in the steam/hot water line. Turn on the hot water button and run it through until it stops saying ventilate. If this doesn't work, there could be more serious problems at work (clogged hose? bad flowmeter?).
