I have the same situation with the F1 code. Repair people said they could fix it but will be very costly. I have to start washer 3 or 4 times to get it to run and again when there is about 15 minutes left in cycle. Told that Maytag is out of business and no one wants to fix it. Washer is only 18 months old!

My 18 month old washer just started doing this as well. I checked the owners manual which told me to call the 800 customer service number.
I did that and was told customer service has no way of knowing what the "F" codes mean and that I must pay for a service call for a diagnosis.

Maytag Bravos MTW6600 washer will not fill in any cycle. F1 always comes upl. After pressing cancel and then start 3 more times, the machine will run.
