Hi, Are they the same models? The phone's capability to sustain a stable network coverage may vary even in model types. While at your home,remove the phone's battery and simcard and fit them again. Note how the phone's network signal registers. It may start very high and then drop drasticaly to very low or no signal at all or sustain a constant signal reception. If the reception's good in other areas,then your home area's network coverage may not be that good.
There are times that this system error comes from memory. try to remove it first or replace another memory card and test.
if this problem keeps on showing,just format or reset your phone by doing this Hard Rest;
1. turn off the phone, remove simcard and memory card.then put the battery back 2. long press ( * ) ( 3 ) ( call key ) simultaneously then power it on. (keep holding the three buttons) wait until the formatting message appear (you can now released all buttons) wait until the process is finish and it will restart automatically.
* Be sure battery is in full charge when doing this method * also back up all important files before doing so.
- make sure your phone is open line, so all sim you insert can be use,
- make sure you are using your phone in the area with a network signal
- try to check with celphone technician, some nokia phones have problems with their network when its coming of age.
