How long has it been since you've cleaned your stove? If it's been a while the flame sensor (the part with the metal rod) may be building up a chain of carbon blocking the igniter from igniting the flame. A temp fix is to jiggle the sssensor but what is needed is a cleaning. Also you may need a new burner ring. That solved my problem last winter.

EE 2 can be caused by a couple of things but is usually a fuel issue or a flame rod problem. The circulation fan will not come on until the burner has warmed up. The combustion blower should start almost as soon as you turn the heater on. Turn the heater on and listen for the combustion blower. If it doesn\'t start, do you get an error code? If the blower started wait for the fuel pump to come on. It will start when the burner lights come on. If the fuel pump makes a loud ticking or thumping sound, it isn\'t getting any fuel. Check the fuel filter and the strainer in the fuel sump. Make sure the valve is turned off at the barrel before removing the fuel strainer. If the fuel pump is working normally, does the heater light up. If it doesn\'t, check the igniter. You can check that first if you want and have a clamp on ammeter. Place it around one of the igniter leads and you should read 2 to 4 amps when you turn the heater on. If the heater does light but then cuts off after about a minute, clean the flame rod. Unplug the heater before removing the flame rod because it may kill the circuit board if the heater is plugged in and the flame rod touches ground. Let me know what you find.
The fuel pump will make a loud thumping noise if it isn't getting any fuel to it. You can use a long screwdriver like stethoscope and listen to it to see if it is running. It won't start until you see the burner lights come on (about 3 minutes after you turn it on). There is a way also to hook 120vac to it with the fuel line off, but I will have to put that on here tomorrow after I look at one. As far as your fan goes, either take the exhaust hose off the back or remove the front and remove the black rubber boot from the blower motor (easiest). Then use your finger or a pencil and reach in and try to turn the fan. You may hear a slight crunching sound from carbon breaking loose. Keep turning until it turn free. You can use a shop vac to clean some out.
Probably a fuel flow problem. Does the pump start making a loud thumping sound before the heater cuts off. Check the fuel filter and the strainer in the fue sump. Turn off the fuel at the barrel before removing the fuel strainer. Also check the flame sensor. Unplug the heater before attempting to remove the flame rod because it may burn out the circuit board if it touches metal with the heater plugged in. Use some steelwool or fine sandpaper to clean it if it is dirty. Another possibility with the EE-6 is that it is overheating, however, since you are getting EE-2 also I would suspect that fuel is the problem. Another thing to check would be the fuel nozzle. It can sometimes get clogged with carbon deposits. Let me know what you find if this doesn't fix it.
If there was a flame in the burner and no circulating fan running the stove would over heat in less than 5 minutes. It would show an EE 6 message. Are you sure there is a flame in the pot? The stove does have a safety feature that allows the combustion fan and circulating fan to run continuously in certain cases. This is a rather extreme case. In any event the circulating fan would be running at the same time the combustion fan was on. To get out of that mode turn the stove off and on again. Now you should be able to restart normally. EE 2 usually has to do with the fuel. Does the heater make a loud ticking or thumping sound? That's the sound the fuel pump makes when its not getting any fuel. Check your filter, check the strainer in the fuel sump. Depending on how cold it is any water in the fuel line could be frozen blocking the fuel flow. You might also check the flame rod for soot. If your fuel was yellow it was #2 home heating oil. Toyotomi Laser heater run well on #1. Since yours in giving you a EE10 message you are going to have to open the burner and clean it, the blower and the heat exchanger. The air holes are blocked on the burner and it takes too long to burn the fuel up, EE10. This is a dirty job but not that difficult. Try toyotomiusa.com/ and use their dealer locator. You should find a dealer in South Dakota that will be able to get you some gaskets you might need.
Not having a cleaning in the last couple years may be the problem. Carbon build up in the burner pot and on the flame rod (a chain of carbon) will cause the flame to not be sensed. Then the flame will burn out. A temp solution would be to unplug the stove, then unscrew and jiggle the flame rod to break the chain. When tightening the screws do not over tighten. You could also try hitting the edge of the pot to see if you can knock the carbon loose. You could also have a warped burner ring which would cause problems keeping the stove running.
I have been working on Toyo's for 14 years now. During this time I have never seen a flame rod that was bad except ones that people have broken themselves. The rod is just a piece of heavy wire that is insulated against the pot. It is almost impossible to mess it up. Now, that being said, you can have a problem with the flame rod being dirty or sooted. Since your stove is so new I would look at the fuel system. If it is clean I would go after the burner mat. There have been mats lately on new stoves that have caused them to soot up. When this happens the flame rod gets covered with soot and gives the EE2 message. A new stove that has a burner mat problem would be covered by the warranty. Bad fuel that causes a problem will not be covered. The other thing that is not covered is a stove that has had an iced up the exhaust pipe. A good dealer should be able to help you get the stove going and explain the warranty.
