The icon comes from the Profile image. Find an image that you wish to use and post it to the group as a post, then click on the empty box on the top left of the page where the Profile Image place-holder is and choose Update Profile Picture. You can also take a picture from your computer or mobile device by choosing 'Upload Image' from the choices.
Facebook is a very popular social networking site, it is definitely not
one of the easiest sites to use! Although Facebook is feature rich, the
user interface can be fairly complicated. Do not worry, here is the
most straight forward way to upload photos to Facebook.
Login to your Facebook account, and from the top navigation menu select "Profile", this should take you to your profile page. Facebook Navigation
Below your status message you will notice a series of tabs, click on the tab that says "Photos". Profile page tabs.
You should see a button to your right which says "Create a Photo Album" (Facebook Image Album),
click on it and you're on your way to upload and share your fabulous
pictures with friends and family. Remember the pictures are controlled
by the Privacy or Sharing settings that controls who can and cannot see
Yet another shortcut for posting images on Facebook is as follows:
you're logged into Facebook, see the Status message box and right below
it is the attach tab with options for attaching photos, videos and

click on the Photo button. You'll get a drop-down menu to upload your
photo if you're looking to upload a single image as well as an option to
upload a new album. Click on your choice and you're ready to share your

catalog their images, since the workflow becomes much easier to handle.
Are you receiving emails correctly from Facebook (i.e. not your Facebook inbox, your actual email address e.g. email@example.com)?
Make sure your email address is correct in your profile or that your email account is not returning mail undelivered. I'm not certain but it is possible Facebook could disable you from posting messages if your email address is not set up correctly.
