Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How to open Book1.xls file.?

To open an Excel spreadsheet, you need a program that understands the .xls format. You can get the free Excel Viewer from Microsoft: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=10 . This is the latest version and will work with computers running Windows XP through Win7. There is a Mac OSX version available but I'm not sure of the URL. If you have an older OS, you can try searching for an older version of the Viewer.

Another option is to install any office suite that includes a spreadsheet program or just the spreadsheet program. Microsoft sells Office in several versions and you can buy Excel separately. There are several other spreadsheet and office suite software options that will also read Excel files. Open Office and LibreOffice are both free office suites which can read any Excel file. (www.openoffice.org and www.libreoffice.org ) Open Office and LibreOffice have versions that work under almost any OS.

I hope this helps.

(who has used the MS Word and Excel viewer and OpenOffice on recent systems. I also have MS Office 2010 on some computers.)

I am not able to open microsoft excel application. THE FIRST BOX THAT POPS UP: The application Microsoft Excel quit unexpectedly. Mac OS X and other applications are not affected. Click Relaunch to...

I would uninstall it and reinstall again. If that doesn't fix it, uninstall it and use Open Office instead. Far better, free open access and easier to use plus fully compatible with any microsoft stuff.

I need to open excel in spreadsheet

Excel itself is a spreadsheet - You have to install Microsoft Office with Excel to read & edit the Excel files.

If you just want to view the excel you can download Free Excel Viewer & install on your System @ http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?familyid=1CD6ACF9-CE06-4E1C-8DCF-F33F669DBC3A&displaylang=en

or

You can download & install openoffice.org which is free @ http://download.openoffice.org/ to view & edit your Excel files.

Hope it helps.

Why don,t get a free full version of microsoft excel 2007?.

You have to buy microsoft office in order to get excel. The only way to get office for free is to download a pirated version which is illegal. But there are free alternatives such as open office, gnumeric, google docs, and many others. Sorry about that answer.

I need the free permenent product key for my laptop type aspier 4736g,because always i open my microsoft word exel it request

Your computer probably came with a "30-day-free-trial" version of Microsoft Excel. So, after the 30 days, you have to PURCHASE a permanent product-key, if you want to keep using the software.

Remember, you clicked "I agree" the first time that you opened Excel, namely agreeing to accept the 30-day trial-period.

Or, uninstall Microsoft Office, and download *FREE* office-productivity software from http://www.openoffice.org
This software can read/write your existing Excel documents.

Microsoft excel

In order to use Microsoft Excel you have to buy a license. You can always download a limited time trial. Trial programs contain the same functionality that you get when you buy the perpetual versions.

If you don’t want to pay for a license, you can use OpenOffice, the leading open-source office software suite for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, graphics, databases and more. It is available in many languages and works on all common computers.

Great software, same functionalities as Microsoft Excel, easy to use, and it’s free:

No MS Excel is a part of the MS Office suite and comes seperately from some computers. Some brand new computers may come with a trial of the office suite, but not all computers come with office on it.

2007 version running SLOW!!

Are you trying to open a .xls file instead of an .xlsx file? Xlsx is the excel 2007 file format. Another cause could be a lack of free space on your hard drive. Uninstalling the 2003 version or defragging could do it. One last question: XP or Vista? I find Office 2007 works better with Vista. Good Luck! ---- JG
