Question about Toshiba Satellite A135-S2386 Notebook

1 Answer

Unwanted multi cascade in explorer

Hi, I am having trouble with window after window after window appearing in internet explorer.

I am clicking OK to send a bid on a website I use all the time. It has never happened before today - until I tried it on my brand new Toshiba Satellite laptop!

The only way to stop it seems to be shutting the pc down..

In a few seconds it can be up to 20 windows and in no time at all, into the 50s.

This is a serious issue for me, as I use this site for my main trade of business.

Please help. !

I have the Satellite ,L300D-14G one but had to select A135-S2886 because the product link did not recognise L300 etc.

Win7? click on the win key, type restore point in the search box and press enter. Select a date/time before you clicked on the wrong box.
That will restore your system to when it was as you liked it and won't affect your data.

Hi there,
If you are getting trouble after the updates of internet explorer..

Then I would suggest you to Roll Back it to the original Internet Explorer (i.e Internet Explorer version 6.0)

Which come up with Installation of Win Xp with Service Pack 2.

Bad Effect due to IE 7.0 or higher version:

Screen hang up, internet freezes abruptly, prominent windows crashes anytime.

So to stop these problems, better to run with lower and safe version of IE:

To remove Internet Explorer 7 from your PC use the following methods

Method 1: Use "Add or Remove Programs" to uninstall Internet Explorer 7

Step 1: Use "Add or Remove Programs" to uninstall Internet Explorer 7

a. Click Start, and then click Run.

b In the Open box, type appwiz.cpl, and then click OK.

c. In the list of programs, click Windows Internet Explorer 7, and then click Remove.

d. Follow the wizard instructions to uninstall Internet Explorer 7. Also remove if any updates under this entry found.

If you cannot uninstall Internet Explorer 7 by using this method, try Method 2.

Method 2: Use Spuninst.exe to uninstall Internet Explorer 7

Hi,

Let me understand your issue. When you are logged in Yahoo messenger and you receive an email, you are not able to open it and it gives an error message to launch ?

If so,

Follow the below instructions to resolve the issue
You will have to set Internet Explorer as your default browser
You will have to Clear/delete unwanted files and cookies stored in your PC memory downloaded from Internet surfing. ( there is no harm in deleting the cookies/files downloaded while surfing )

1. Open Internet Explorer
Click on Tools from menu bar ( or you will find it on right side corner of Internet Explorer )
Click on Internet Options ( a window opens )
Under General Tab - Click on Delete button
Or
you may find Delete Files and Delete Cookies
Delete the files and cookies and click Apply button

2. Open Internet Explorer
Click on Tools from menu bar
Click on Internet Options ( a window opens )
Click on Programs Tab from top
You will find Default Web Brower
Click on the option Make Default
Click Apply button below and Click ok

Next time try to open the mail once you receive and it should open from the click without you opening yahoo mail page.

HI I am having trouble using ie8.I have been using ie8 for about 2 weeks now on my windows 7.I has been running fine until today. Now when I started explorer today an error appeared " windows explorer has...

If you are using IE 7/8 you can try to run the program without loading any add-ons to see if one of them is causing the problems. To do this, click Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools and then click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons).
(You can also load IE without add-ons by clicking START --> RUN and then typing iexplore.exe -extoff)
If those don't work try to re-register IEPROXY.DLL by clicking START --> RUN and typing regsvr32 IEPROXY.DLL and then clicking OK.
When IE dissapears does IExlorer.exe show in the task manager's list of running processes?
Have any toolbars or new sofware been added recently? If so and you are using Win XP you may want to try a system restore to a previous point before the changes were made or uninstall the toolbars completely. Also disabled all Pop-Up blockers to see if that has any effect.clean up ur registry using reginout
