To connect Asus Notebook to Yamaha RV-502 Av Reciever to play music
I wish to connect my Asus Notebook to the Yamaha reciever to play music, the notebook has an SPDIF output jack, the reciever is a pro logic surround sound av reciever which has pre digital connections ie all rca connections. Would it be safe to connect through the CD connection and are leads available in SPDIF to Rca to enable this?

Hi, Most notebooks have a 1/8 female plugin from your audio card. (headphone Jack)
Now, you need a cord with a 1/8 male plugin on one end and two RCA Jacks on the other.
All you need to do is connect the cord to (AMP) RCA in and the 1/8 Jack to you notebook.

This has to do with your video driver on your laptop that needs updating.
go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Windows Update
download any updates from here.shutdown laptop, check the cable connection from laptop to tv then restart.
If still no luck try another hdmi cable
It might be a program promblem. Download Intel PROSet Wireless (program might not be found when it doesn't have the caps). If that doesn't work try installing another wi-fi reciever. You can buy one at office depot.
your sky box should have 2 scarts ;input and tv.I have one so as can watch sky upstairs and on projector screen.
reciever sender is in av on tv upstairs sender downstairs is in scart next to tv scart on skybox scart lead in tv scart connected to av on tv.some senders need to be turned on.when you plug in adapter and led is on doesnt necessarily mean sender is on .is this a new sender with instructions youve bought
Uninstall the mouse sofware again and remove the mouse reciever.
re install driver and re connect reciever, but in a different usb port if possible, if still not recognised it maybe that the mouse needs pairing to the reciever, so refer to your manual for help on that.
