Question about Computers & Internet
I wish to connect my Asus Notebook to the Yamaha reciever to play music, the notebook has an SPDIF output jack, the reciever is a pro logic surround sound av reciever which has pre digital connections ie all rca connections.
Would it be safe to connect through the CD connection and are leads available in SPDIF to Rca to enable this?
Hi, Most notebooks have a 1/8 female plugin from your audio card. (headphone Jack)
Now, you need a cord with a 1/8 male plugin on one end and two RCA Jacks on the other.
All you need to do is connect the cord to (AMP) RCA in and the 1/8 Jack to you notebook.
This will work fine. Good luck
