Re: wont turn on at
This is common when the charger is not working anymore and the battery is almost dead. It has just a few seconds of life.
Verify that the charger is working. Plug it in and see if any of the light come one in the front then unplug. If not lights then it isn't charging. Even if the light comes on, you need a multimeter (12.00 at walmart) and put it in and check for the 24/28Vdc (read what the output is on the bottom of the power cord).

was there a new hardware that was added to your laptop? bluescreens often are caused by hardware.
while the laptop is booting up when you are asked for options on how to start you computer is there an option for start windows using last known configuration? if there is try that and if it still goes into bluescreen you may want to try and recover your laptop using the hp recovery cd or recovery tool. if it still doesn't work most likely you have a bad memory chip.
Sounds like a motherboard issue. The sound you are hearing is probably the fan running so your board may not be totally shot. Generally, when the computer won't start at all that is the issue. The only other thing I can think of is the power supply but your fan probably wouldn't run either.
Try starting it without the battery in place. Sometimes a bad battery draws so much current it won't start up the machine. Check out put voltage at adapter, just because the adapter has a light lit on it does not mean there is output at the connector. If it looks like its starting but you have no screen, try attaching an external monitor, maybe your inverter is shot and you have no back light to illuminate the LCD screen
