Seal in bread pan leaks

My Regal K6725 Bread maker is leaking at the dough kneader seal.
Can the seal just be replaced, or what do I do to solve? Thanks

I have a regal 6773 machine but same problem. I'm not going to complain though---it's a fairly old machine. I'd just like to know if there are replacement parts. how about you?

My sunbeam breadmachine started getting the oil spots, leaked into dough and eventually whatever held the paddle shaft onto the bread pan disintegrated or disappeared. Would that be the seal or some kind...

Hi
As long as the drive mechanism beneath the pan is still stiff to turn and fels like it engages the motor you should be fine. See pic. The centre 4 spike drive unit is what is important. Normally the toothed drive belt will fail. If this is still good then replace the pan.3f754847-72d6-45ec-a55c-8ca7f7deffab.jpg

The seal has come out from around the paddle on my Regal Kitchen Pro Bread machine

That seal fits a sealed bearing. Unfortunately it can not be replaced. A new bread pan is needed. Hank

My Regal breadmaker has begun to release a black greasy substance into my bread dough. Do I need to replace the pan?

Hi,
The black substance is lubrication oil. The oil lubricates the bearing and shaft that the paddle spins on. Usually this bearing is sealed, but black greasy substance means that the seal is broken and is leaking. Just a matter of time until it fails all together. Time to replace.

Bread pan shaft hard to turn

I had the same type of problem with mine and found out you remove the kneading part that spins and pull up the seal underneath. You will probably find dough has gotten in under the seal somehow and caused problem. I just took a toothpick to it and voila! Trouble is you have to be careful not to damage the seal by taking it out...
