I downloaded some games and transferred it to my psp but many of them hanged the moment I started the game...
Eg. after the "psp" display the screen turned black and I waited for 5 minutes and it's still black then I pressed the home button and wanted to go back but it hanged at "Please Wait"...This happened for "Valhalla Knight 2" and "Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core"
I tried re-downloading them 2 times but the same problem remains then I transferred the game into my brother's psp and the game worked
Another "hanging" occurs when I tried to play "Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth" it hangs after the introduction when the 2 girls talked
Other games like "Tales of Eternia", "Bleach: Heat the Soul 5", "Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes" and "Monster Hunter Portable G" can be played in my psp...but is any of them causing the problem?
My memory stick is around 4gb and because I deleted all the "faulty" games it has around 1700kb left.

This is directed at whomever rated the solution Dahaka provided (I know it wasn't Dionne),

Remote trouble shooting is an interactive process. Since we cannot see your problem, you have to see it for us. The description you provide is how that is accomplished. Sometimes details we need to know about get skipped over. That was the case here. When this occurs, we ask for the details, if you want the problem fixed, you provide the details. Depending on your answers, there will most likely be even more questions. Magic 'One Liner' solutions are rarely effective.

I would like for you to reconsider the 'Inappropriate' rating you gave Dahaka.

rating is worst type of insult. It can reduce rank and have a
profoundly negative effect on an experts overall ratings. It should
only be used in the rare case that the advice you received was totally
irrelevant to the problem or outrightly profane in which case should be
reported as abuse. Neither one of these was the case here. Your rating
of Inappropriate is the only inappropriate response appearing in this thread..

    For the most part, Experts
here volunteer their services. Their only compensation may be the
satisfaction of helping others and pride in the ratings they receive.

blasted a lot of hard work and the reputation of someone that was
trying to help you. I would think this is something you would want to

Also keep in mind that Experts here pick you, not the
other way around. An Asker who doles out IA's for helpful advice
without any interaction, even as a mistake (which I'm hoping it must be)
is unlikely to be helped by a second Expert.

He needs detail to help you. Details omitted by you. He was being helpful with his advice. If you
have additional questions or need clarification, we are happy to
respond. Most problems cannot be solved without several question and
    answer volleys.

If you provide a description with a higher
level of detail, we can provide a better, quicker solutions for you. If you
comment back with questions, we can walk you right up to the Solutions
    door and knock for you.

It depends on your level of
commitment. Now it also depends on you either getting that IA removed
or improved. Until then, you have the only help you are likely to
    get. It's a Karma thing.

I don't make the rules, I'm just letting you know you shot yourself in the foot.
You know how to fix it.
You know you should fix it.
    So Fix it.
The balls in your court. Good luck.

Instead of using a card reader, try to use the PSP in USB Mode with a connected cable. This may allow you to access portions that you currently are unable to access so that you may be able to backup the games.

Also, has your PSP been modded with a Pandora?

I cant upload games in my psp using memory stick.why

It could possibly be that the memory sitck is corrupt and needs to be reformatted. Does the PSP read the card? IF not try to try flippin the switch to the wi-fi and wait for it to read it again.

I always play psp and sometimes the game is just hang like that. after that my psp just shutdown automatic.

That's normal. Sometimes the games are buggy and hang the PSP. When the PSP OS detects that situation, it shuts down or restart the PSP.

You can try updating the firmware but the problem is with the games.

My psp problem!!!after a game my psp is hang and my games is delete from my psp games!!1how can i solve this??please help me thanks

The problem is with your memory stick dou that causes your PSP to hang up and reboot. I bet your using a fake memory stick duo and your PSP is not stable. Please make sure that your memory stick is seagate supported. You can check that by simply going to your memory stick information. Your games are not deleted. The game is still on your memory stick, you just need to run again your PSP custom firmware and your enabler. To permanently resolve this, you need to buy a genuine Sony memory stick dou and then run again your PSP custom firmware and your enabler. You can access this link for your PSP custom firmware and your enabler.

The problem that causing this is the switch inside the UMD possible its stock-up or spoiled already!
