Hi ive just bought a second hand blackberry 8100 phone inserted my vodaphone sim now says on screen sim not provisioned2 any help please

With that error note, you need to unlock your Phone. It just simply mean that your Blackberry is still operator locked, and would just accept its original operator sim.
There are several ways to unlock your phone.
Unlock by operator- where you will ask for unlock code FROM the original operator where the phone is locked to. Unlock by codes where you will buy unlock codes from sites.Have a search on Google for unlock codes for Blackberry, I cant mention examples, I dont want to be endorsing sites. Lastly professional Unlocking which is performed by technician using special gadgets and softwares.
Hope This helps.

I have sharp sidekick phone imported from US to India. Now i m unable to access local NW in phone. It is asking unlock codes.Plz Give solution..

Modern mobile phones are largely "Customised" for certain network providers. This includes "Locking" the phone to the network that has had the "Customisation" done for them.

Network providers have their handsets "Locked" in the attempt to keep their customers (Us) from using their handsets on other networks.
The theory is...If your handset only works on their network you will be less likely to move to another provider.

Since you have had your handset brought from the State to India I'm 99% sure that your handset is locked to the Network provider it was used on in the states.

So until you get the "unlock" code that the previous provider knows it can only be used on the one providers network.

However as your phone is not so new a simple search for unlocking will give you either IMEI unlocking where you send your IMEI number to an unlocking website and they will send you a code to unlock your phone.
Or you can use allgsm and it is all done for you via your data cable over the internet. Obviously all 3 of these options need require you to pay.

UNBLOCK MY PUK CODE

PUK stands for 'Pin Unlock Code', and has to be entered if you've locked your SIM by repeatedly entering the wrong PIN code. If you're asked for a PUK code, you've had more goes at guessing your SIM card PIN code than you're allowed. You'll need to phone your network provider Customer Services for your PUK code to unlock the SIM. For security reasons, it's only the network operator that can legally provide you with a PUK code to unlock your SIM.With some phones you will get a cert card with your sim card and it might have the 8 digit PUK on it. if this has been entered 10 times or more incorrectly then you will need a new sim card

LG KU990 Viewty unlock codes

it IS NOT the IMEI number. you have to type in the 16 digit unlatching/unlocking code, which is unique to each phone. what you do, is put in a sim, which ur phone is locked to. type in 2945#*990# press 'unlock USIM' then type in the code. you can get the code from either your network, or possibly from LG. you will probably have to pay for it. however sometimes it is free. for instance, if u are on tesco mobile, hav had ur phone 90 days, andd have topped-up £25 in that time, then they will give u the unlock code for free.
