Thank you for your post but I'm talking about dryer, the full description is as below:

my dryer is a LG DLE3733W model, serial number: 704KWFN03075.

I just used it for little bit over 1 year, however the problem ocurred when I was using it today.

I load the dryer, took the filter out to clean, but forgot to put it back in and started the dryer, dryer stopped after running about 15 minutes, of course I realized the problem and immediately put the filter back in but the dryer won't start to run again.

Called LG service center, was advised the sensors might to be cleaned, but it still won't work after cleanning the senors...

After owning the LG DLE3777w for a year, I had an issue with it.  Everything illuminates when pushing the power button.  When pushing the start button - nothing, it does not start, it simply has a humming noise and you can almost hear a timer ticking.
Called for service - they had me unplug for 15 seconds, push the start button for 5 seconds and whalah, the dryer started working again.  Of course, they didn't make note of the problem and that I called.
Now I am experiencing the same thing after 2 years of owning the dryer, however, when I do all of these things listed above, nothing happens. I called into LG, and they gave me the name of a service company.
Seems awfully weird to me that simply unplugging it could make it work again, however, it doesn't seem to be working for me this time. Anyone else have any helpful hints?

Hi
Step 1: Remove the cap that holds the sprayer arm on.

Step 2: Remove the sprayer arm, the screen, the pump housing, a bolt, the upper impeller, the food disposer blade, a spacer plate, the impeller hood, a flat plate, an O-ring, and the lower impeller. Lay the parts out in order as you disassemble them so that you'll be able to reassemble them properly.

Step 3: Clean the parts thoroughly with a mild detergent solution. If any parts are worn, replace them with new ones made for the dishwasher.

Step 4: Replace any seals, such as the O-ring or other washers, with new ones.

Step 5: Reassemble the pump, keeping the parts in order.

To reach the water pump, remove the sprayer arm and screen and then the pump housing. Remove the bolt, and the pump components can be disassembled.

On some dishwashers, the lower impeller serves as a drain pump. This type of system usually has a reversible motor; machines with nonreversible motors have drain valves, as detailed previously. If your machine possesses this impeller pump system, and the water will not drain from the dishwasher, clean the lower pump impeller. This may solve the problem. Otherwise, call a professional service person.

You can clean the lens with a small amount of windex and put a little oil like 3 and 1 oil on the spindle motor shaft and on the sled rails. Good luck !

Difficulty 1 to 10 = 3
Belt routing8ec45fd.jpg
Start by: removing filter and filter housing screws
then remove front panel screws LIFT UP on panel to remove it.
Remove belt remove tub. Get filter housing off
Clean up dryer. Lock down shaft and remove blower. Pop motor mount clips. Unplug motor. make hote of position f motor. Install new motor use nutdriver to snap down clips. I have the manual and some photos. In my sleep I can completely replace a motor in less than an hour and that includes oiling the rollers and idler and doing a through hoovering out the machine. This machine is worth replacing the motor and really a breeze to repair. Nothing has worked better for over 50 years. Go for it.

Dryer stops after about 10 minutes. can be re-started but stops again and again. Thermostat was replaced about two months ago.

the motor could be overheating, you might need a clean out on the dryer?vac out the inside where the motor is,clean out the duct where the lint filter slides into and then go outside and make sure the air is blowing out with force,i've been finding alot of cages outside that stop animals from crawling into the vent line but the cage also catches lint and stops the air flow,if so take the cage off or clean it every month,if you have a long run blow out the vent line with a leaf blower, you could also have a bad motor

Dryer stops after a few minutes of a full load.

You will have to replace the moisture sensor. The heat from the small fire may have damaged it. It's not that hard to do, but the part costs @$60.

Kenmore 80 series dryer stoping after running for 10 to 15 minute

Start any cycle. Dryer runs for 10 to 15 minutes, then stops before cycle is complete. Start again, stops again in 10 to 15 minutes.

Dryer keeps stopping - check filter light on

For Sgt 48 - You are not reading the original message very well - The original help question didn't say they saw check filter at the beginning or end of a dry cycle they indicated that the dryer STOPS MID DRY and says check filter - this is not a friendly reminder, it is indicating something is wrong and the filter needs to be completely cleaned out (and past the filter down in the interior of the dryer) and if that does not work then you need to also check the dryer hose for kinks, lint build up, etc. Lastly, reset the dryer by unplugging it (or flipping the breaker) for a minute or so and hold down on the start/pause button for 8 seconds while it is unplugged (this will reset the error code for check filter, among other things).
