I've bought the same remote control w/ out brand, and I've been using that for a long time. When I bought, it came w/ a manual w/ many codes... but u can use the general search that for me is better.

For example, you wanna fix a TV

1st - press SET button and the TV1 button AT THE SAME TIME (the RED light might be turned ON)

2nd - Press the SET buttton, and you'll see the red light shine, twinkle. (it means that the remote control is trying all codes)

3rd - while the red light twinkle, try pres the ON/OFF button... you should press the ON/OFF button many times, and when the TV turns off is because you found the code, so press TV1 button to stop the research in your remote control.

***PAY ATTENTION!!! If you don't stop the research at the same time that the remote control find the code, you'll lose the code... so you need restart everything again.

I hope it gonna help you!

Remote lm-1079. How can I use it to program Magnavox TV/DVD/vcr combo?

Your "Dollar General" remote probably has a code search capability you can use to find something that will work. Codes are stored in the remote. If a search through all codes fails, you may have to try another remote. Or, you can simply buy another remote of the same type at Dollar General and follow the enclosed instructions.

Where can I find a list of a GE, Universal, remote control code that I could program, to my Sony HDTV?(For I lost my instruction manual.)

Note: most remotes allow you to find the code by manually turning the TV (or other device) on first, then press the appropriate button (cable, DVD, surround, etc) then setting the the remote in the "program" mode, then keep pushing the "off/power" button until the TV (or other device) turns off, at that point the code is set.

Lost code booklet for my oneforall remote

I can help you with your URC-3021 Universal Remote Control issues.

The codes for Sanyo TVs is: 0154.
The codes for RCA DVDs are: 0522, 0571, & 0717.
The codes for Magnavox DVDs are: 0503, & 0675. These may or may not work with newer Blu-Ray players. Since you have two disc players, you will need to reassign the CBL/SAT key to act as a second DVD key.
I don't believe the URC-3021 stores codes for surround sound amplifiers: it has only three function buttons: TV, DVD/VCR and CBL/SAT.

For complete instructions on entering the URC-3021 remote codes, please refer to my posted Fixya Tip One For All URC-3021 Code Entry.

I hope that helps.

Can't get the remote to work

Try pressing the TV button on the Prima remote to make it work on the TV. It should work on the Prima Tv without new codes. Codes would be needed for your cable box.
Consider calling Prima at 866-447-7462 for the codes. They should have a website for the codes or email you the codes for free.

PS Please rate me if this helps.
