Question about Panasonic VIERA TH-65PV500 65 in. Plasma Television
My Viera starts up normally (only two and half years old) and after 15-20 minutes the screen goes white..audio is fine. The screen flickers and then goes white. Is this just bad luck with modern technology and my TV is "gone".
The main driver board, or the main processor board most likely has a failure. The authorized Panasonic service rep can replace the defective boards and perform the necessary adjustments to match them up.
If the set is out of warranty it may be expensive to service. Using the set with a defect can cause more damage, and thus may increase the cost of the final repair.
