Question about Nikon N65 35mm SLR Camera
Hi, My camera was not auto focusing-thanks so much. Buy why do you have to have the lowest f-stop and what will this mean for me taking pictures? Thanks, Mike
With the advent of auto focus on Nikon cameras came electronics in the lenses. These electronics communicate with the camera. Since the camera controls the aperture, it needs to be set at the high end to allow the full range of f-stops. I.E. it cannot set f-22 if the ring is on f-8. With all of the modes available on the camera. you control the setting or the camera does, its just no longer a mechanical function.
