I wish i could, some one said put it in and then riight click on computer and check clean, i think but i was a goofy gal and i think i made it worse but ask someone else, more knowledgeable, i probably had already been fixed because i made a mistake and clicked the wrong thing one time and i think it hurt someone so i am a newbie at this and should be doing my homework.

The USB driver installed by default. U need not have to install it separately. If it is not recognised then try to use it on another system, see whether it gets connected or not

I have the Ipod nano 8g and the screen lights up but but get no menu and can't play anything.. I just go this ipod.

I had the exact same problem listed in this thread.
This is what I found on another site to fix it.
Make sure your M240 is not connected to the computer.
Then go into the "settings" menu and then go to the "usb" part.
Then Select "MSC" from the menu, instead of "Auto Select (or something like that).
Then turn off your player and connect it to the Win XP computer and it will be fully recognized
and you can then go to My Computer and see it there and use it.
