Ok due to the bread crumbs I get from the top of this post (All Products > Whirlpool > Duet 3.8 cu. ft. Capacity Front Load Washer > Troubleshooting > Problem > Solution) I’m going to assume that you have a Whirlpool Duet 3.8 cu. ft. capacity front load washer....If that is the case you will need to first remove the front cover below the loading door... there will be 3 Phillips screws on the very bottom of this cover. You will see a white cap in the very center bottom. You are going to need a bowl to catch some water and probably some debris when you remove it....Make sure you get all the debris (coins wrappers...ect...) out before you put the cap back on the drain...Then try to run a normal cycle again. You can always run the diagnostic program that is found in the manual which is also located behind that front bottom cover.....please make sure the washer is unplugged before you remove any covers......let me know if this helped...

Hi i dont think it is a train smash, Whirlpool normally have a cartridge fuse in the wiring harness. You will need to open the top panel and look inside the cover and you will see the fuse assembly. Open it and confirm the faulty fuse. Replace and test. Make sure no water is present on retest.

Whirlpool front loader cant open the door the display just blinks

Hi,

To open the door you need to remove the panel below the door (three screws at bottom of machine) then reach up by the door lock and there will be a plastic tab hanging down, that will be the manual release for the door, just pull it down. Wile you're in there see if the technicians packet is taped to the inside wall of the washer, it helps to explain the workings of your machine. If the display is blinking, is it blinking a code? like F11 or FdL? Knowing the code will help in troubleshooting the problem. Good luck.

My whirlpool duet washer is filling with water when it is off. it only drips, but two days in a row it was filled up above the bottom of the door openeing and spilled on the floor,

This problem is either attributed to a defective water inlet valve, or defective pressure switch. An easy way to determine which one may be causing the problem is to unplug the washer, but leave the water taps on. If the washer continues to fill, you have a defective water inlet valve. If the water stops, I would recommend changing your pressure switch.

Post back and let me know if you require further assistance. I hope this helps you.
