Question about Computers & Internet
I would suggest before you go through the laborious task of reinstalling your os, just give this a shot. It may not be a very malicous virus, to find this out run system restore, go back at least a week before the virus showed it self of was detected. If after reboot the bad issue remains. You have a couple of options. Reinstalling os is one, however if the virus has embedded itself in your BIOS you will need to wipe out your hard drive and reformat or buy another hdd.
