Question about Computers & Internet
I just purchased a new Dell computer, my old one crhashed without notice! I used my scanner alot. The Model is 6688-03A
Seroa; Number: 916732403A84301511SS8000
I've installed the scanner. When I go to use Print Shop, acquire, my computer tells me: Can't open VFW Twain UT
What is this and what do I do. Dell Tech support suggested I contact you. My home phone is: (606) 663-7644. We have a dial-up connection. When you call me, I'll call you back on my cell phone if I need to log-in. Thanks in advance for yur help. Lisa M. Clark 916732403A84301511SS8000
Sounds like a driver issue. Start by confirming the device is seen and the driver has NO issues
To see the device and it's properties, go to the control panel, scroll down to the System icon, click it, go to the "hardware" tab, then to device manager. Looking for anything having a yellow question mark or yellow exclamation mark next to it. If you see one it means something is either wrong with the driver ( incomplete - not loaded properly - wrong one - ect...) or the device itself and possibly the scanner/cable has malfunctioned.
I can better tell what is going on by looking at it myself. If you'd like for me to remote in, call me and then click this link if we need to.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
