How to print entire UserGuide at one go, please

The on-screen manual only prints what is showing on the screen, at a time. Takes a  long time to print all the screens for even one subject; also very  wasteful of paper.

I have the on-screen manual for Canon PIXMA MP470 printer on my desktop, downloaded from the installation CD. When I select "Print All"(which is the usual setting) it only prints the Userguide text actually visible on the screen.. there is nothing wrong with the printer, it normally always prints all. the problem is peculiar to this particular PIXMA MP470 User guide. Sorry Wix, neither of you solutions have worked.

The result I found today is brilliant! [Retrevo.com manuals].
The delay is because it wasn't notified by email.

You should make a right click on the manual and give the print command from there (Do not open the manual).

Also manuals usually has some blank pages in between, so the wastage of paper will be there for sure if you print the entire manual at one go.

Hi, Is the manual single PDF file ?
If so, while printing, select Paper Range as "all".
If you have multiple files, you may have to combine them into a single pdf file before printing.
If I didnt get your question, please update on the situation so I do not make any assumptions.
thanks, :)

Try to save first a copy of the userguide to your computer then try to print it now , that should do the work for you, because sometimes when you try to print a userguid direct from the internet its a problem with the internet browser that you're using....

Hope that helps...........

Panasonic KX-P7110 printer won't print from the auto feed tray, shows error when printing is attempted.

Hello,
Please check the entire length of the paper feed path from input to output for a small piece of paper that is stuck causing a "Paper Jam".
You are lucky that you can still print manually as this usually shuts a printer down until the jam is found and removed!
Good Luck!

My brother printer DCP 395CN does not give option of printing odd or even pages in fast or fast normal mode. When i switch to normal printing mode it provides option. I want to print pages on both sides...

Some printers automatically print automatic duplex printing, other printers allow you to manually reinsert pages to print the second side .and some printers do not support duplex printing at all.

To find out whether your printer supports duplex printing, you can check the printer manual, contact the printer manufacturer, or check the printer's properties by clicking Properties in the Print dialog box

Note that If you have more than one printer installed, it's possible that one printer supports duplex printing and another printer does not.

I attempted to print a 25 page document, with reverse pages. Only 9 pages printed. I cannot print anything now. and the message on the printer reads, DATA REMAINING. I have pushed every button...

It seems the printer buffer memory has overflowed. Cancel the print from the print Que and switch off the printer. Give your PC a reboot too. Now switch on the printer and make sure that there is no document in the print Que. If its still there, disconnect the printer and delete the pending job, i.e. print Que. After the printer shows it ready for printing do not release the entire document for printing at one go. Breakup the print job in 3 parts and for each part manually enter the page numbers and then give the print command. Repeat this till the entire lot is over..........................sodeep

Instructions for printing addresses on envelopes from letter.

I assume you're using Microsoft Word? If so, click on File, then Print. Select the MX850 printer and enter page "0" in the box where you specify which pages to print. This will print just the envelope and not the entire letter.

Not Printing without Pushing Checked Button

Print a configuration page foung under the information menu of the printer. (Hit the check button, scroll to info menu, hit check button, scroll to print config page, hit check button)

Look at the tray menu area on the page and insure that letter (or the size paper your using) and the type (Plain preferably) is listed for tray 2. Next make sure the tray 1 (manual feed tray) is set to any.

If its not as above, go back into the menu at the printer and scroll down to the "paper handling menu" to set up the trays as above.

Once completed, check to make sure when your printing a document that the size shown on the printdriver side under properies (when you hit file print) says the same.

That should clear any waiting to print issues you have.

For the slow printing issues. Read the configuration page to see what the printer has for memory onboard. If you are using a Jetdirect, addional trys (tray 3 or 4) or duplexing it usually takes more memory. Memory is fairly cheap and can be aquired at www.memory.com for just over wholesale cost.

Hope that helps you.

Bad color

Follow these steps to clean the print head using the control panel on the printer:

1. On the Main Menu, press UP or DOWN arrow to highlight More Options, then press OK.
2. Press UP or DOWN arrow to highlight Maintenance, then press OK.
3. Press UP or DOWN arrow to highlight Clean Print Head, then press OK.
4. Press OK to begin cleaning the print head.
*NOTE: The cleaning takes several seconds, during which the message 'Cleaning print head. Please wait.' appears on the screen.
5. When cleaning is complete, you see a message asking if you want to print a nozzle check pattern. To see if the nozzles are clean, load a sheet of photo paper, then press OK to print the nozzle check.
6. Check the pattern to see if there are any gaps in the lines. If there are gaps, press OK to clean the print head again. If there are no gaps, press Cancel to go back to the PictureMate Main Menu.
