Question about HP DeskJet 722c InkJet Printer
I love this printer and know it is old but it is the best printer HP ever made.
Wy all the sudden has it started to leak ink on bottome and I notice I have to turn it on every time as it is not coming on when I turn on computer anymore. Any help or finding me a new HPDeskJET 7222 c would be helpful.
Are you using off brand ink? Try using genuine hp ink and look for updates for printer.

Try changing the color cartridge. Also it is a good idea to clean the electrical contacts if it looks dirty.Use slightly damp(use water only) q-tips .
Hope this helps

If you are using a 32
bit version of Windows 7 you can add a driver using the following: go
to the Devices and Printers folder, Add a printer, Local printer,
LPT1: (or which ever parallel port the printer is connected to),
select the Deskjet 720c driver. You may need to click on the Windows
Update button if the driver does not show up initially in the list.
If you are using a 64 bit version of Windows 7 there is not a solution at this point, the supplied drivers have an issue.

A new ink needs a little cleaning before using. Just dab lightly on a damp paper towel and look for a inch log stripe of each color on the towel. If all colors are not there it won't print very well and you should return the cartridge. Some have reported no yellow in their new cartridges.

You may have to update your printer drivers, try the HP website, follow links for downloads and support. Enter your printer model and operating system as you go. See if there's a driver update for you.
