Question about Nespresso D300 Espresso Machine

Open Question

Nespresso D300 won't turn on.

My D300 won't turn on when plugged in. When it does turn on it fills the cup for about 2 seconds and then shuts off. I think it has something to do with the thermostate that shuts off when the coffee gets too hot. Can someone help me?

My Nespresso turns off after filling the cup for a few seconds. I tried to unplug it and start again, but nothing helps.

Same problem except that my machine will shut off after making one or two cups and I have to unplug it for 20 minutes or so to make another cup.

SOURCE: Nespresso D300 says "Fill Water" even after I have filled container.

Even if you fill the tank with water, the machine will display this message when it is empty inside (the pipes, heating element, etc.) You need to prime it: run some water through it by running the steamer/hot water wand.  That should take care of it.

Nespresso pixie c60 only brews for a few seconds on full cup mode

Would love more info, like how long did you have this item and did it go from 10 seconds to 3 seconds with less water over a period of time or just over night?

if this has been giving you less and less water and taking / shorting the amount of time you might have Calcium build up inside the unit that is not that easy to clean out, Seen it happen on a mr coffee unit it would make a 1/2 pot of coffee because of the build up from the hard water in the area.. Needed a new coffee maker.

Machine stopped working and both buttons are flickering, if I push the left (small coffee) button then the machine starts to pump cold water. If I push the left (large coffee) button nothing happens. Not...

May be busted, but before you take it to the shop try these few things. 1. Unplug machine for 30 seconds 2. Then plug back in, (lights should still be blinking) Take silver handle that you lift when you put in coffee pods and gently push back handle as far as you can for 3 seconds. This should reset your machine, back to factory settings. To then reset coffee cup settings to your personal taste by: 3. You can adjust the fill of coffee by holding the large coffee cup down for as long as you want to fill it. Try holding the button down for 20secs., next cup of coffee should automatically fill for 20 seconds. Do the same for small coffee side. Hope this works,it has for me; just not sure because of the cold water pumping out issue. good luck

I had the same problem. First, unplug machine for two (2) minutes. Then re-plug and as on/off switch is flashing- press and hold large cup button for 3-5 seconds (no light should show/flash from this button while you hold it down. The on/off will continue to cycle through its normal startup, after it completes you should be reset to factory settings and good to go. Good luck to you, this maneuver saved me.

When you press the button for a large cup of espresso (Nespresso Essenza) only small amount comes out

You can adjust the fill of coffee by holding the large coffee cup down for as long as you want to fill it. Try holding the button down for 20secs., next cup of coffee should automatically fill for 20 seconds. The small cup that you are currently getting was probably set at the factory. Good luck

Did their suggestions work? I also bought Turmix TX 150 Nespresso machine at http://allbestcoffeemakers.com and it's still in good condition and doesn't even have problems like this. But just in case, these answers will surely help me.

Nespresso C1OOB not sucking water out of the tank anymore

I had the same issue and spoke to Nespresso this morning.  To solve this you need to reprogram-put a capsule in the slot and place a cup on the drip tray-press and hold the lungo button until the coffee has reached the desired height in the cup and then release the button.  That should work and every time you make a lungo cup it should be that amount. Hope this was helpful.

Have you tried descaling it. This message displays when it's time to descale and I don't know of a way to turn it off without descaling it.
