Your computer has an IP addy and your router has its own IP addy. Try uninstalling the router and its software, reboot, and reinstall everything, this may clear up the conflict. If not you will have to go into the router(via the internet) and reconfigure the router.

Internet connection and network errors can be frustrating and confusing to a casual computer user.
However, Internet Explorer provides a diagnostics tool to help identify and even repair the most common network issues.
This tool is simple to use, organized in steps, and can help get a computer back up and running quickly.

Open Internet Explorer and click on the "Tools" button in the control bar at the top of the window. From the "Tools" menu, select "Diagnose Connection Problems."
A window will appear, displaying the start page of the diagnostics tool.
Follow the instructions to determine the cause of the connection error.
The diagnostics tool will ask a series of multiple-choice questions about the connection problem you are experiencing.
Close all programs and restart the computer.
If you continue to receive an error when attempting to connect to the Internet, check that all cables and power-supply cords for the computer, modem and/or router are properly connected. Then, run the diagnostic tool again.

Create the menu tab on your homepage right click in the top toolbar you should see a number of toolbar options select the menu tab which will add File Edit View Favorites Tools and Help

When I open Yahoo as my homepage it opens all

Your internet connection is experiencing problems: the page data loads first, then the formatting and metadata.Basically, your browser is timing out before the formatting info has loaded. When you hit refresh, your browser tries again, and it usually will work the second time. Just an internet connection issue, nothing wrong with your computer or the website.

It happens more frequently on busy and/or slow internet connections.

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

Try to check if the connection you have from the internet is suffecient to load a page in your browser.Cause sometimes the reason why the page cannot display is because of a slow and insuffecient internet connections  Then if it has a suffecient connection then try to open the browser options and try to see the security or the privacy options and try to see the cookies if it is enable.
