Question about Samsung CLP-510 Laser Printer

Print out counter info

How do you get the stats to come up on how many total copies your printer has done from the internal counter? I have done it a couple of times in the past, but have since forgotten how I did it. I know it will print out a very nice page of information.

Kyocera FS6525MFP - How do I get it to display the number of copies already printed when I have a large job, such as 100 or 300 copies.

Press "System Menu / Counter" button. Press "Report". Press "Report Print". Press "Status Page". Press "Yes". The Status Page will print. Look for Counters in the right column just over 1/2 way down, then follow it down 4 lines to Total. The total page output is just to the right of the Total. Note don't use the Total at the bottom of the page, that is for scanned pages.

How do you get the total counter to print? When I log in under Administrator, I can print out department codes, but the total counter will not print. It will only show on the screen.

There is a counter button on the panel that brings up 4 squares. One of them is print out total counter. One button on the panel and one touch on the screen. Hope that helps.

Check page counter on Canon MF6590

if the control panel doesnt have the "Check counter" button then you need to print the System dump list.
Access to service mode, then go to Report, then choose report output, then choose system dump, then press OK.

All the above info is classified since this machines are not suppoused to be kept track of prints like that for the user. Reason why i cannot go further.

when the page is printed (the first one) tells you how many copies you have Totally printed... under PRINT-TTL.
good luck!

Epson stylus d92 printer

I think that this "error"is due to an internal copy counter.
I have a Epson Stylus D68PE, and had the same problem.
I performed a research for a file to reset the internal counter, and I found a file "C67C68D68" that is an "EPSON ADJUSTEMENT PROGRAM", with different softwares for each type of printer.
after launch the program, and reset the counter, the printe work OK.
This counter is as similar as the counter of the laser copiers.
As you reset the chip on ink tank, after a specific numbers of print, you must reset the internal counter. By yourself, of by MAINTENANCE (very expensive) Good luck.

  2. Select the [Machine Information] tab on the Touch Screen.
  3. Select the [Billing Counters] button. The following counters will be displayed, depending on machine configuration:

NOTE: C13 (Total Marked images) will in general be greater than C1 + C2, or C4 + C5. C13 is incremented whenever an image is created, and will include counts of internal test patterns and reports. The other counters are not incremented when these system images are created.
