Question about Frigidaire Gallery Supreme Series GSTF1670DS 3.1 cu.ft. Front Load Washer

1 Answer

Electronic controls Unable to start machine - actually none of the buttons work. Received an Err message and then it started cycling through the hot/cold row. Unplugged it but that didn't work. Tried pressing buttons simultaneously according to another website but that didn't work either. Know of any codes to reset it?

sounds like an electronic problem. motor controller most likely. I am unsure off hand what this fault (7) means, but the number is very low, which normally indicates motor control board

I have a whilrpool frontloader and it is stuck on "control locked" how do I unlock it?

Look for the End of Cycle button on the control panel then press and hold it for 3 seconds or until the Control Locked indicator turns off. There's actually a marking under the button saying "Hold for 3 Seconds to Lock/Unlock Control". Unplug the machine for at least 30 minutes to forcibly reset the control and to eliminate the possibility of an electronic glitch if pressing and holding the End of Cycle button does not work. Replace the control if unplugging and the pressing the End of Cycle button fails to unlock it.

Press "end of cycle" & wait for 2 minutes then try the door, do not force the door........................ If problem persists go to your model above & click on your model number & look for solutions....should find something.

Kinmore 44092 Washer - can't get it to start any cycle

Try some WD40 on the machine door mechanism, not on the door; & open/close the door while the machine switch is off.

Retry the machine with clothes.
