Question about Network & Wireless Adapters
How do you get past the chip set fto refill the ink or the epson stylus photo 785EPX ?
Epson was like the first manufacturer to use that diabolical little extortion device that is built in to the cartridge. I never defeated it but it is like one of those little anti-shoplifting devices used in retail stores that the cashier nulls out with a degausser of some kind. Do NOT use wires from a wall receptacle to zap it -it will explode~ Steve

Turn on the Lexmark X4975 printer. Lift up the entire scanner unit to rest in an open, angled position that reveals the interior of the printer.
Press down on the lever in front of the printer cartridge that you need to replace to open the cartridge carrier lid.
3 Pull the old cartridge from its slot in the carrier.
Grasp the tab attached to the tape covering the electrical contacts and ink nozzles on the back and bottom of the replacement printer cartridge. Pull the tape away from the cartridge carefully without touching the contacts or nozzles.
Insert the cartridge into the empty slot--the electrical contacts facing the back of the slot inserted before the front of the cartridge.
Flip the cartridge carrier lid over the top of the cartridge and then push down on the top of the lid until you feel the lever lock the lid in place.
Repeat the replacement process with the other printer cartridge if necessary. Lower the scanner back into position when finished.
Increase Engine Horsepower.
