Playback freezing on Philips DVR5100
On playback I get a frozen tv screen for a couple of seconds before playback recontinues. At other times it freezes but moves into a pixellated screen - it unscrambles but has moved forward a couple of seconds in the show being played back. Can you please help?

- I have the same issue, along with a raft of other issues/bugs I've encountered. I sent it away for a firmware upgrade which seems to have fixed a few of the issues but not all. The playback freeze problem is less apparent now, but still occurs occasionally. When I first see it happening, I power the unit down (i.e. disconnect it from power all together) and repower it up. This seems to stop the picture freezing for the rest of the session at least. Annoying having to do this but not as annoying as having the picture freeze all the time.- MarkVN
