You can pick up a bottle of gas treatment at any auto parts store. they run between 2 and 5 dollars. water in fuel light on saab 93 - moz-screenshot.jpg it is not good but not necessary to use one of these bottles every so often. pour one of those in your tank after u fill up on gas. and u should be ok. also, the cheapest gas around isnt always the best. chevron with techron is great. if u fill ur tank with chevron gas once every 6 months or so it will help your car dramatically. the techron is designed to lubricate everything in your engine and keep it running well. i hope this helps you.

L have dran my fuel after realise fuel is mixed with water. l start my car after putting another fuel it is starting but when driving it stop the engine after a distance l start it again and it starts but...

Did you drain the fuel tank properly after finding water in the fuel? Water is heavier than petrol, and will drop to the bottom of the tank where it is picked up by the fuel pump.
I see you have drained the fuel, but did you take out the tank to make sure there is no water in the bottom or in the fuel filter, and finally make sure there is no water in the carburettor and fuel lines.

Draining fuel tank on nitro 09 got water in there

Have to remove the tank to get all the water out, then refuel . Fit a new fuel filter .disconnect the return line at the fuel rail, work the fuel pump to expel any water from the fuel lines and rail ,connect the return line and start.

Fuel in water

Mr. Harris, My advise is to drain the water and fuel mixture from your fuel tank, remove if is easy the fuel tank and completely dry it up,Go by the engine bay and find the fuel pipe which is coming from the tank to the injection system where probably is a fuel filter, renew the fuel filter, blow air in the pipe from the engine side towards the fuel tank-but before you do blow air in the pipe be sure is not connected to the fuel tank, for not sending the water back in. If you did not start the car since water went into fuel, means that you finished with the above,by connecting everything and put fuel in the tank and start the engine. If you did have the engine running when water went into fuel, means that you have to remove the spark plugs and whilst are out and the fuel tank is clean with new fuel and fuel filter make the engine spinning second to second for 2-3 minutes so as the any old fuel to push out from the spark plug holes. After clean your spark plugs or renew them and also before running the engine is good to put an injection cleaner additive in the fuel tank. Better to put fuel up to a quarter of the tank and run it treating all the system.

Ford suer duty 250 diesel has diesel in water

I think you mean that you have water in your diesel fuel. Open the valve behind the fuel/water separator and drain out some of the watery fuel into a pan (place pan under the car). If you have a lot of water in your fuel, you may need to have a professional drain your fuel tank, flush out the fuel system, and try to salvage the fuel for reuse. I hope this helps.

Hard starting have changed fuel filter four times in two weeks

Either carry a lot of fuel filters or drain the fuel tank after it sits for a full two days, You have water in the fuelor a ton of algae. Confirm the water by pouring out the fuel filter. Any water will be obvious. The water in the tank will separate from the fuel if left standing. Then the water can be drained out the bottom of the tank.Water in the fuel can blow tips off injectors so take heed. and good luck.If you don't have a fuel water seperator, consider having a RACOR separater installed.

Water in fuel
During refueling, it is possible for
water-contaminated diesel fuel to be
pumped into your tank. Your vehicle
fuel system is equipped with a fuel
filter/water separator to remove water from the fuel. The WATER IN
FUEL light will illuminate when the ignition is turned to START (as part
of the light function check) and when the FCM/HFCM has a significant
quantity of water in it.
If the light illuminates when the engine is running, stop the vehicle as
soon as safely possible, shut off the engine, then drain the FCM/HFCM.
Refer to Draining the FCM/HFCM and changing the fuel filters in the
Maintenance and Specifications section of this supplement for the
drain procedure. Allowing water to stay in the system could result in
extensive damage to, or failure of, the fuel injection system
