You can pick up a bottle of gas treatment at any auto parts store. they run between 2 and 5 dollars. water in fuel light on saab 93 - moz-screenshot.jpg it is not good but not necessary to use one of these bottles every so often. pour one of those in your tank after u fill up on gas. and u should be ok. also, the cheapest gas around isnt always the best. chevron with techron is great. if u fill ur tank with chevron gas once every 6 months or so it will help your car dramatically. the techron is designed to lubricate everything in your engine and keep it running well. i hope this helps you.

Y 2002 saab 93 turbo stalled out a couple of days ago, I let it sit for the 2 days gave it a jumo today now it starts ni problem, but I am still worried about taking it out on the road

Do the maintenance, clean battery post connections, replace the fuel filter, add fresh good fuel and a bottle of fuel treatment. You may have gotten gas with water in it. Drive it around close like I do in case you do need to tow it back home after you do the maintenance.

I changed the fuel pump on my 2005 saab 93 it still wont start

A common problem is a bad crank sensor on a 9-5 2.0t and 2.3t! if is bad, it doesn t send signal to the ECM, then the ECM do not send power to the pump relay! it is always better check fault code first

Saab 93 2001 engine warning light comes on for a couple of days then goes out until I fill thecar with petrol then comes on again

Most likely it is the float level switch that is going bad in the fuel tank. This will poop a code. have it checked. Just keep track of your mpg/kpg.

Saab 93 convertable, Rain water fills the drivers footwell when the car is parked downhill.

I am not sure if it is the same problem I had with my '04 93 SS, but there is a cabin air filter that has a drain next to it that allows the rain water to run down to the ground. Mine was clogged up with leaves and other junk which caused the rain water to leak through the filter into the cabin. Being that yours is a different body style, your filter may be on the drivers side which would cause this. I would try to look up where your Cabin Air Filter is and try to clean the drain.

I do not know because I do not know your capabilities. Having said that, this link explains how to change the fuel pump. You can read it and decide if it is something you can do.

Hello, Saab 2001 93 with trouble code P1181. It seems to be running fine and the light has not returned. Can you point me in the correct direction? ThanksJeff

P1181 says Long term fuel Trim Additive, Max value, Air/Fuel too Lean

Check for vacuum leaks, check mass air flow sensor if this is ok - check fuel supply (pump, pressure)
