Built in oven keeps shutting down for no known reason

After power cuts most ovens need resetting, for this reason 00:00 is flashing. The operation is described in the specific model's user manual. Most ovens reset either pressing or holding down for few seconds a Clear or On button, or holding down the main control knob.

The reason the oven is shutting down is because it is overheating due to the cooling fan not working, and a safety thermostat is turning the oven off.
You need to repair or replace the exterior cooling fan.

This is the system error and it comes when the user doesnot shut the comp in proper way.//
it can also come if due to some reason the comp is shut automatically//
to get rid of it try last known good configuration.
shut down the comp// restart and immed start hitting f 8 cont to get the advance boot menu//
select LKGC and once that is done hopefully your computer will boot perfectly//

For some reason it did not install the updates correctly.. can you boot into safe mode? or last known good config?

There are a couple of safety thermostats in the oven to shut down power if something overheats. One is on the magnetron tube (the microwave source), the other is on the cooking cavity. These sometimes go bad. There's also a power line fuse that may have failed, or become loose in its mounting clips. These can be tested with an ohmmeter; they should all measure very close to zero ohms if they're good.

Another possibility is that the control circuit board in the oven may have failed. I have worked on several Sharp ovens where the power transformer for the board has gone bad for no good reason. If the board goes bad the oven may appear to be dead as well.

Microwave servicing is best left to professionals. If you're thinking of keeping this one, take it to a service shop (or call for home service) and get an estimate. Then decide whether to repair or replace.

I'm only guessing here but it's possible the internal thermostat is broken and the oven is overheating {?} and triggering some built in safety switch that turns the oven off so it won't cause any damage.
I suggest you call the company, or a local oven repair person.
Letting us know if it is Gas or Electric may help too.

Mine was doing the same thing all day today. All I know is when it was cool I lifted up a bit on the lower burner an inch or so, and set it down. Next thing ya know, you guessed, it, it's working again...Not sure what's doing it, will keep checking for a solution.

MOST OVENS TODAY HAVE THE CLOCK/CONTROL AS ONE UNIT THAT HAS THE RELAYS THAT TURN ON THE BAKE/BROIL CIRCUITS. SOMETIMES THE RELAYS FUSE THE INTERNAL CONTACTS KEEPING THE CIRCUIT RUNNING AFTER THE MICROCOMPUTER SHUTS DOWN THE CIRCUIT.
THE OVEN CONTROL WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED.
IT IS ALSO KNOWN AS THE CLOCK.
OCCASIONALLY, THE MANUFACTURER WILL HAVE A SEPARATE RELAY BOARD AND CONTROL BOARD. FIND OUT WHICH CONFIGURATION YOUR RANGE IS AND REPLACE THE PART THAT CONTAINS THE RELAYS.
