I had to erase the flash memory. I am using a MAC OSX machine, so I used Disk Utility, selected the volume "NO NAME", and erased. Another problem (in OSX) is that for each file, a hidden "._" file is also appended. My fix for that was to rename the volume "NO_NAME" on the desktop, then launch Terminal. From there change to superuser, navigate to "NO_NAME", and issue the command "rm ._*" which erases all files that start with "._"
WARNING: Be sure you know what you are doing as superuser!!! If the term seems vague or you have never used Terminal, don't try it!!!

Here is the answer. The problem is the software that the MP3 Player runs off of. It can only read so many file directories, once you have too many file directories, it just stops seeing them. You have to try and cut down the number of folders you have. What I did with mine was took them out of the sub-folders and had all the music under the artists name....you'll just have to **** it up on this one, bad R&D, but you went with an inexpensive MP3 Player....you get what you pay for.

Ok, this means that the format in which you copied the files to the player is not supported. You need to convert the audio file to mp3 format before you transfer it to your player.
Hope this can steer you in the right direction.
