Re: cant get games to work
Is the XBox modded, if yes, the mod chip is at fault
if no try a can of 'computer air' (one brand name) compressed air to clean out the lens and drive of the dvd player, can be done witoht breaking the seal and voiding the warranty.

Right, lay your Xbox360 down dont keep it upright, try installing COD4 to your hard drive then once installed go into you game library and click on cod4 and click play from hard drive ( and if you dont know how to install games to the hard drive make sure your xbox isnt on automatic start when a disc is inserted and put the disc in and when it says play cod4 press Y and then click install to hard drive) hope this helped....
ok m8 my mate had this problem what we found out was becouse he was playing a copyed disc on his xbox the xbox server cut him of from playing sertin games he could not play any ea games full stop untill he went and got a new xbox
theres a known problem with the hitashi dvd drive in the xbox 360.
the only solution to this is a home repair job, look up on youtube on how to do this, although this isnt recommended as it voids warranty.
so the best way is definitely just to ring microsoft and send ur console in for repair.
