SOURCE: Iphone won't work well with SBC global

Are you setting up your email using the Yahoo! presets? Or are you actually typing in the POP and SMTP server information (e.g. pop.att.yahoo.com)? I know people with ...@sbcglobal.net email addresses have had success using the Yahoo! presets. This seems to be a persistent issue with iPhone users - not being able to access their SBC accounts.

SOURCE: can I transfer my NOTES to my MacBook Pro?

If you are willing to synchronize your iPhone to your MacBook pro, and you have the newest version of iTunes installed on the MacBook, then when you sync with the MacBook the notes will show up in the Mail application
I believe you have to have at least one mail account installed on the phone, but you don't have to synchronize it in iTunes - somehow the notes just show up in Mail.
Give it a try
But keep in mind that when you sync with the MacBook through iTunes you will no longer be synced with the previous computer - only one computer at a time ... so you may have to go back to the original computer and sync again in order to get all the music and photos you originally had on the MacBook.
So it's not totally easy.
It's also not very easy to access the notes without going through a sync operation - however there are some third party applications that find the iPhone items in your backups (on the computer) and let you "extract" them - this might actually be easier ..
Do a Google search for "extract iphone backup" and you'll find some apps that do this ...

Hope this helps - good luck and have fun!

While you have .mts or .m2ts files from AVCHD camcorders of your friends or relatives, you may find it difficult to visualize the AVCHD videos on your iMac, MacBook Pro or iPhone 4. AVCHD is the advanced format for shooting videos in high definition with 1920x1080 or 1440x1080. Most AVCHD camcorders record HD videos in .mts format, while there are some in .m2ts format like Sony HDR-SR5.
Sony HDR-CX110, Sony HDR-XR520V and Canon HF S21, Panasonic HDC-TM700K and the like offer AVCHD videos in .mts format. While QuickTime Player does not support playing AVCHD videos, VLC media player may sometimes has problem with AVCHD videos, a quick Mac AVCHD to H.264 converter is needed to make MTS/M2TS videos visible on MacBook and even iPhone 4. Aunsoft MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac is the best AVCHD to H.264 converter, which transcodes videos to Mac compatible MP4 format and deinterlaces AVCHD for playback on Apple computer and iPhone 4.
Below is the step-by-step guide for converting AVCHD MTS/M2TS to H.264 on Mac Snow Leopard for you to play HD videos on iPhone 4.
Step 1. Load AVCHD videos to Aunsoft MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac.
After transferring .mts or .m2ts files from AVCHD camcorder to computer hard drive, run Aunsoft MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac as the best Mac AVCHD converter, and click the "Add" button to load HD 1080p AVCHD videos.
Step 2. Choose H.264 format.
For Full HD playback on iMac/MacBook Pro, just click the "Format" option and choose HD Video > H.264 HD Video(*.mov) or choose .mp4 output format. The output H.264 videos will play on Mac without problems.

If you want to play HD video on iPhone 4, just choose iPhone > iPhone 4 H.264 720P(*.mp4) for converting AVCHD to 720p MP4 for iPhone 4 with H.264 as video codec.
Step 3. Convert AVCHD to H.264.
Click the convert button under the preview window, and the Mac AVCHD to H.264 converter starts transcoding AVCHD MTS/M2TS to MP4 for playback on Mac OS X and iPhone 4.
The Mac AVCHD to H.264 converter deinterlaces and removes interlacing artifacts of the 1080i videos for smooth playback on computer and portable devices. You can then watch the HD videos on MacBook, beamer and iPhone 4.

You can do it only if you have a back up of your old iphone.
Follow as under:
Connect it to itunes.
When it is sync. then press tab of your macbook at the same time click on restore. Both the actions have to be done at the same time. It will show you the previous backed up phone.

Can I transfer my NOTES to my MacBook Pro?

You can use iCloud. iCloud automatically uploads the most important data from iPhone to the cloud, and save the data in the cloud. With iCloud, you are able to upload your notes to iCloud and then get them on your Mac computers. You need to enable iCloud on your iPhone, and turn on Notes so that iCloud will upload the notes to the cloud. Then you can go to iCloud.com to view the iPhone notes. If you like, you can email the notes to yourself and download the notes to your Mac.

Apple Iphone wont's communicate with communicate with computer.

Hi,
The iPhone at present cannot be paired with anything other than a Bluetooth headset or some hands-free car systems. You cannot sync to a computer via Bluetooth, even though they may recognize each other as existing.
Not to be argumentative, but there is nothing you can do with your iPhone and MacBook Pro, as the underlying Bluetooth profiles such as OBEX (or OBject EXchange) Object Push, OBEX File Transfer and DUN (or Dial Up Networking) do not exist on your iPhone.

An iPhone is not intended to be paired with anything other than audio devices as specified in your user guide.

pls rate my suggestion...
